Socialdrinker, Dr. Cooley impressed me very much. I am about to schedule a HT for August. I live 3 1/2 hours away from Charlotte. He is going to do 1000-1200 grafts on me. 1000 will be $5,000 and 1200 will be $5800. He charges $5 a graft up to 1000. His website is www.haircenter.com

Hey guys, I am 20 years old with a slight receding hairline and a thinning bald spot the size of a quarter on my crown. I know there are some side effects to Propecia, sexual side effects concern me the most being that i'm 20. I've also heard you shed a whole lot when you first start taking Propecia. Should I start it or could it accelerate my hair loss?

Dr. Cooley wrote me a prescription for Propecia and Nizoral shampoo. He told me to use the shampoo 3 times a week. Anyone else used this?

Neither did I, but I saw the photos of Brendan Frasier without his system and he's pretty bald. That just goes to show you never know who has their own hair and who doesn't in Hollywood. I would love to know who did Dennis Miller's HT..I can't seem to find it anywhere!

I know many celebrities have hair issues just like us. The guy that played Greg on the Brady Bunch had a HT, Brenden Fraser wears a Farrel System, and many reports show John Travolta had a HT. Recently I read about Dennis Miller going public about his HT and he said it's wonderful to have hair where there was none. Does anyone know what doctor did Dennis Miller or John Travolta's HT? LOL...I know. I actually booked an appt. with them because I was ignorant to hair transplantation. Luckily, I found this forum and cancelled immediately. I did alot of research and found Dr Cooley on here.

Arfy, I am 20 years old. I am not losing any hair (as of yet) but my hairline has always been a U shape. I want to get that corrected and I've been in contact with Dr Cooley in Charlotte. He said 1000 grafts would be enough for what I want and Propecia. Dr Gauvin is who I found on the web and was interested, but they didnt require a consultation...they wanted to book me for surgery without seeing me first. That didn't seem right at all.

My age is 20. I have had the same hairline my whole life. The pictures of me when I was 5 years old look just like my hairline now. I guess I was just born with a bad hairline. My dad still has all his hair, just a slight recession with a little bit of thinning on the crown (not really noticeable) and both my grandpas have all there hair.

I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about. I'm 20 and I don't have hair there either. Just gonna let you know you're not alone. It kinda makes your whole forehead more "Broad".

So you're saying to keep the grafts out of the sun and salt water for good or just a few months after you get the transplant? I don't want to go my whole life avoiding the sun and salt water!

Worried Man, Did Dr Cooley require you to take Propecia in order for you to have a transplant? As I stated before, I am 20 yrs old and am well aware of my age issues, but I'm ready to do something. My hairline has been high and U shaped all my life. I want to lower it and fill in the temples a bit, but I don't want the side effects of Propecia. I hope Dr Cooley understands. Is he pretty understanding?

I'm happy to hear your transplant went well. I scheduled a consultation with him for May and I'm excited. I'm 20 and I have a bad hairline, I'm so ready to get this taken care of. I love hearing the good stories about Dr Cooley. He sounds great and I can't wait to see first hand.
