Did you map his scalp for miniaturization? You do not know what his safe zone is.
Lol exactly. It is absolutely ridiculous for stairstre to state as fact that Dr. Hasson extracted from outside the safe zone.
Good luck Spidey it seems as if you went into this with your eyes wide open. Despite what stairstre says Dr. Hasson produces some of the best hairlines in the field, and proof of that are the 100's of patient photos and videos.
Keep us posted.

The ISHRS organization doesn't disclose a list of attendees so I wouldn't be able to say who's all attending. I am on the conference committee since I'm the chair for the Surgical Assistants Program this year. This position has given me access to statistics for the conference attendances. The # of registrations has surpassed budgeted figures already with 2 weeks to go. I believe it was close to 700 attendees consisting of doctors, assistants & office personnel plus 2 weeks and on-site registrations to go. This will be the most attended hair conference ever!
I am looking forward to visiting the wonderful city of Chicago, and participating in this year's conference.
Thanks Janna. If you get a chance make sure you take the Chicago Architecture Foundation boat tour, it takes 90 minutes and leaves from Michigan Ave and the river. It's the #1 thing I recommend for out of towners and is very interesting. Enjoy your time in town!

I'm guessing by Dr. Fellers absence and his non response here, which seems quite strange considering how chatty he is about other doctors and his endless responses to his own threads, my guess is he told you he won't comment until 12-16 months has passed or he has spoken to you about this and you don't want to ruffle his feathers. Is that in the ball park?
Your hairline does look a bit pluggy to me but perhaps in a real world situation, not under the glare of overhead lighting, it might not be as noticeable as you think. Good luck with it and I hope you feel that Dr. Feller has your back.

Dr. Bhatti will be presenting also!
Excellent that should be a great trip for him. Chicago is a great town.

Yup just browsing through the program I see a lot of familiar names including Dr. Konior, Shapiro, Umar, Vogel, Wesley, Farjo, Bernstein among others. Janna from SMG will be there also. I don't see many of the European docs such as Lorenzo, Feriduni etc...
Lots of FUE presentations yes.

Thanks David but I can't open that link. I'm not sure if any Docs attending would even be interested in doing consults while in town, but since I live in Chicago I thought it might be a good opportunity to meet with some of the European attendees. I thought there might be a list of those attending.

Do any of the moderators or reps know who will be attending the conference in Chicago this September? Is there a list somewhere that shows which doctors will be there? I went to their website but could not find who is participating.

Do you have any new results? I remember this patient from your website from years ago.
-
Actually you had 4000 little holes in you head. Strip hurts a lot more.
Good luck growing!!

Reminds me of Sam Spade. Congrats.

Great pics EJ, thanks for posting those. On the super close up I think I can make out where they took the grafts but just barely. I think the skin cells on the face may regenerate more quickly than other areas of the body. When we shave it exfoliates the top surface and the skin seems to come back even stronger, it seems to be very resilient.
I would definitely consider beard hair for my FUT scars although I would want them taken from below my jaw line for sure. The other problem is that I'm starting to gray on my beard but not on my head.
Great post thanks.

Very nice. So he took the grafts from both sides of the head and basically left the area where he took the grafts during your first surgery alone? I like the small widows peak, I think it helps frame the face a bit better and gives some character.

Great documentation Matt. Good luck with the temple points!

These types of posts where a patient hints at being unhappy, but then won't say why and then disappears, are basically useless and just cause unwanted drama. If you are not willing to make a comment until a year has passed why say anything at all? Really what's the point?
-
Nice, those grafts went a long way for this patient.
Any pictures of the donor area immediately post operatively?
-
Lorenzo really isn't into filling the temples I have noticed. that doesn't appeal to me and his hairlines are usually way to high which is why he is able to stuff more grafts in there cause he has less real estate to cover.
its a decent result. guy really wasn't that blading so 3000 grafts looks about wat 3000 grafts wud look like. nothing extraordinary here. a good result but the guy has also grown his hair very long and combs it back so its really hard to tell wat he wud look like without the comb-over.
and the hair is wet. dry it wud look far less dense.
Lol this is a new one. Dry hair looks far less dense than wet hair!! You must be paid by the Turkish docs to spew your nonsense against Lorenzo, now you just are babbling and making no sense at all. He has his hair combed straight back in some of the pictures and you're talking about a combover smh.

In my mind this is an absolutely beautifully done hairline. Very well done.
I've been out of the loop for a while on SMG's FUE protocol, so forgive me if this has been covered. Janna is that done over one or two days? Manual punches used? Is Dr. Paul doing the extractions or does the other Dr J do them? No more ARTAS correct? Is an implanter pen being used or slits? Are you graft survival rates coming close to your strip results? Thanks!
-
Would you post some pictures? I am interested in seeing Dr. Feriduni's work from a patient.
-
My experience with Finasteride is that it definitely did decrease my chest hair and other body hair but did not effect my beard hair one bit.
-
You must be Indian. I remember a big to do over a patient of Dr. Ron Shapiro's who wore a hair system after getting his procedure done and not getting the results he wanted. The fact that you're 7 months out from surgery would lead me to believe it would probably be safe but I would check with your Doc to get an opinion.
-
Was just reading through your first HT post and you mentioned that you thought you had what you described as some "pluggy type bumps." Did those resolve on their own and are you happy with the appearance of your frontal hair line area? This second procedure should really put your over the top, good luck!

They are not a large operation with a slick office and support staff but are busy with 3-4 cases a day. Only a few speak fluent English and Pilar who does, usually takes care of the correspondence. Be patient, or perhaps follow up with a telephone call.
Doesn't Dr. Lorenzo do all the extractions and implanting? How can he do 3-4 cases a day? Is that right or am I misinformed?
