  1. With average laxity/density how many grafts can you FUT without risking tightness?

not exactly sure what you mean by risking tightness but I had 1300 grafts with fut which is a pretty low number of grafts for fut these days and i experienced tightness after operation. however the tightness fades as days pass and once staples come out it basically goes away, if you do have any discomfort after staples it really is minor discomfort at best. These opinions are my own and certainly varies patient to patient.

  2. I think people go there because of advertising, marketing, etc... If you research even the slightest bit you will find terrible story after terrible story of guys being suckered in by ads and salesman. Nobody would spend a couple of grand to have "plugs" and a bad scar, yet somehow through tv ads and disinformation bosley continues to stay in business.

  3. Run....I had surgery with dr feller, you'd be in the best of hands. On the other side, you'd be in the worst of hands with bosley. Don't make the mistake hundreds if not thousands have made on this site by going to bosley. I initially thought about bosley and then I researched and ultimately found dr feller. Thank goodness. There are a bunch of docs doing great work, have consults with a few of them. Good luck!

  4. Dear Spanker well thank you for the complement, it just too cold in winter having a shaved head, also not easy maintaining this look always:) thank you much though for the advise, I am considering it already...

Hey man, just to add my 2 cents, I gotta agree with spanker. Your look works, why spend a fortune on fue or fut for that matter. Go buy a beenie for the winter time and save yourself the time, effort, and cash. Good luck man!

  5. Didn't see today's game but in the nba finals his hairline had certainly receded pretty badly. If he did get a ht it must have been right after nba championship because he had to start Olympic trials pretty soon afterwards. I can't imagine he had a ht during the season. With that said, He certainly has had quite the year!

  6. I had my staples removed by dr fellers office, they came out fairly easily but it did pinch and hurt slightly. And your scar may very well be red for quite sometime. After 2 weeks I'm assuming your scar has properly healed to the point where the staples can come out. I would contact spex or feller and see what they say. Also, go on YouTube, I am sure there are staple removal videos on there. Good luck man, it really feels great to finally get those things out of your head!

  7. Thanks guys for your response. Any issues with an FUT scar?

At first I was only interested in fue. I absolutely did not want a lateral scar. After over a year of research and the fact that I wear my hair on the longer side I opted for fut due to the greater chance of a better yield IMO. The scar has been in all honesty the biggest non-issue for me. However, if you do wear your hair short fue might very well be for you. Do your research, and figure out what's best for you

  8. personally i would absolutely do it again. I believe i wont have to have another procedure for quite sometime, but when the time comes I would not hesitate to go through the experience again. I honestly believe that hair transplantation is not that big of a deal if you go to a great doc, which you clearly are. Like shampoo said, it really boils down to if you can accept or cant accept. my ritual of putting on toppik and having to comb my hair a certain way everyday and worrying about wind and rain became too much wasted energy for me. the ability to move on from this makes ht absolutely worth it for me. also, i'm not a doc, but if your experiencing sides, I would forget meds or at least cut the dose. have you spoken to h&w about this? best of luck with everything, you chose an excellent doctor!

  9. I've heard different things, but my doc said 1 month without any exercise, 3 before lifting weights.

Hey man, I know how frustrating it's to not be able to do physical activity. I was lifting very light weights about 6 weeks out, but I was jogging about 3 weeks after ht and back to playing basketball about 2 months after. I know this has been a topic of controversy on this forum, some have said wait months to work out others have said a couple of weeks. I am curious as to why your doc has said 3 months? In the meantime, don't get down, you have a head of hair to look forward to. All the best!

  10. Dude, chill. If you research, almost everybody on here who has had a transplant will all say their transplanted hair fell out within the first month. Mine fell out in the first 2-3 weeks. It will grow back but it's gonna be a while. As for concealer I have read conflicting reports. Some say toppik is ok, others have said der match is no good. I would contact your doctor and see what he says. I'm not sure about gel or hair spray...good luck, grow well!
