  1. I notice whenever I take aspirin, my hair feels better, looks better etc, I know it might have something to do with PGD2 reduction. My question is, is there anything else I can take that has the exact same effects as aspirin without the worry or side effect of increased bleeding? Regards
  2. Ya Piven definitely has, he was the doctor in Heat and was heading for Norword 8 land, he was spotted with a huge donor scar at the beach. McConaughey had good hair to begin with and a few 1000 grafts with meds worked wonders! When accepting his Oscar his hair looked good, prob full of concealer etc
  3. Has he had a HT? I'd say he's on meds
  4. More evidence to show baldness really ruins everything, girls wouldn't give Mr McConnaghey a 2nd look now lol
  5. I'm not sure if anyone seen the picture of Matthew McConaughey the other day, I know it's for a movie role but sweet Jesus being bald really is the worst infliction on a man there is! Totally changes everything from looks to how suits look on you.
  6. Also it's common sense why Asian men have great hair and small members downstairs , it's all the feminising soy etc
  7. Yes I agree about the homeless and alco's. I have noticed it too with travellers in Ireland most have bad nutrition high carb, bread, and no showers but big thick mops of hair. I think the alcoholic thing must be high estrogen from all the beer.
  8. Spanker, I forgot to mention that I got ibuprofen injection a few months ago. A side effect which is hair loss, you think that could be anything to do with it? Anything but mpb haha. I know I will thicken it back up if I stick to a regime but at the cost of my wrinkles lookin worse.Thats one thing I noticed the last few weeks when it was thinning, my skin was flawless, glowing!
  9. Spanker, I cut it exactly like that in March and didn't notice anything, I rem it looked good and all I needed was a little nanogen for the front on a night out. I probably did notice a little thin when it was wet but nowhere on this scale, maybe I have been increasing my hormones without taking any protection, bit silly really if so. I've quit all sugar and started eating coconut oil in the morning etc and jumped back on the dht blocker. Hopefully it will recover a bit and I'll get on minox and msm etc
  10. Cheers for the reply David, I'm actually afraid to start minox cause of the shed at the start, I'll be like a cue ball .i have never had thinning all over the top before in my life just a receding hairline and temple points which I had a HT for. I had been extremely stressed for the last few months. Surely if it was DHT mpb it would be more progressive thinning not this bad.
  11. Hi Can anyone figure out what the problem could be. The top left photo was only last March and underneath was exactly one year ago, the photos on right are from the other day after using hair clipper. The top has nearly disappeared what looks like in a matter of weeks. The only thing I can think of was a big stressful event a few months ago and also not been very active lately and eating properly. I thought it might have been from eating to much sugary foods which caused a massive raise in insulin resistance. Last few weeks been eating Brazil nuts with Vit b complex which has brewers yeast (natural selenium), I'm thinking it could be selenium toxicity then again maybe not. I really don't know what to think.I don't take propecia or minox just started taking Beta Sitosterol again after seeing my bad thinning.I can't believe how quick it happened, I didn't notice any shedding either. Hoping somebody can explain it.
  12. Exactly Busa, that was the main reason I didn't go with him, I did get my temple points done and they turned out really good, blended in well etc, my only problem is the left side on top didn't fill out as expected or the correct amount of grafts wasn't implanted. I will be going back for round 2 this year
  13. I stayed in La Piano which was very close to the clinic, and there was a take away next door which done tasty chicken fillet burgers , I've never heard of Elite World Business but it sounds very nice! So do you think 2500 grafts should take longer than 2 days?
  14. I'm not sure how to put up more than one photo at a time,it's really poor, all there is, is silly URL links. Dakmary, I stayed in a hotel called La Piano which was right in the center of Nisantasi, which was perfect and only 5 minutes walk to the clinic.
  15. He does all the work by himself, the reason why I choose him was because he transplanted hair on the temple points, which mine needed done. I think any transplant that doesn't do them if needed can make the whole thing look very unnatural. I had my fue done with him last Feb, it's ok do far and I'm happy apart from the design on the end of yhe hairline where it meets the temple on the right side and the density on the left side, which was done on the 2nd day in the evening, I kinda feel it was rushed, and if after 1 year it doesn't get any better I will be going back over to get it sorted.
  16. Akash, it's wrong to say its all genes etc ya sure just like breast cancer is in certain peoples genes but to say its the reason everyone loses hair is wrong.I rem a story before where an Asian women moved to London and couldn't believe the amount of bald men. The average man in Ireland or England eats a fry or breakfast roll with sasuage and bacon in the morning, prob a bar of 2 of chocolate at lunch, then few beers after work = disaster for anyone prone to hairloss, sugar is another thing that flames inflammation.
  17. I was just thinking the other day any farmer I've ever seen is a Norwood 6/7, which made me think their diet is mostly dairy, milk, butter, white bread etc, I also rem a sales rep for a milk company calling to my house one day, he just had a few ugly curls left near his nape. There has to be a link. Watching the Porta Ricans at the World Cup and noticed their good hair, I read they never drink milk, no more dairy for me
  18. Here is mine at around 12 weeks with Nanogen in it, that stuff is great but it can make you forget about your regime and hairloss that can occur behind it.
  19. Thanks for the reply Mickey, I have used TCA before on myself, it wasn't too strong. It did sting and I had the baking soda beside me just incase, although it's suppose to be self-neutralizing.I did peel a bit but nothing that would make a difference. I need to get back into a regular regime as my crows feet and forehead lines make me look much older and I hate them.I'm going to start the glycolic peel and do it twice a month, I can't really afford Botox sessions every few months.
  20. What's anyone's thoughts on getting rid of lines/ wrinkles with peels like Glycolic or TCA.What is your daily skin care routine?
  21. Maybe Msm and L Cyestine also dark leafy greens should be a mainstay in your diet. Look for nutrient-rich kale and spinach. In the morning, incorporate protein like eggs and avocado. Since hair is made of protein, the more you eat it, the more it will grow,. During lunch, eat a big green salad, and for dinner stock up on lean proteins like fish or chicken. Snack on walnuts, which are great for scalp health.
  22. It may work for you but for me when I took it, it just itched like mad and I was able to pull out loads of hair around and above the sideburns.
  23. Before, I would say uglier, less self esteem, constantly thinking of it, but after getting a HT and using some nanogen(godsend) I feel so much better, and def gettin more looks of da laaadies just need some Botox for few lines and I'm good ta go
  24. This is def true, happens me whenever I use a dht blocker, the sides of your head need dht to grow hair. Some people will develop Telegon effluvium in that area with use of Propecia etc. That is why things like RU58841 or any good topical anti androgen is better that an internal one. I noticed aswell that women don't have temple points and also older men lose their nape hair which could be caused by the rise in estrogen.
  25. I started using Nanogen on my transplanted hairline, I have to say its an absolute godsend. It really helps to match the density behind the hairline, also a little hairspray finishes it off.
