  1. Hey guys, first off I would like to thank everyone on this forum with helping me choose the best surgeon I think is right for me. If it was not for people like Sean who have made a detailed experience with the Dr I have chosen recently I don't think this would have been possible. I will Discuss my hairline design with Dr Rahal on the 30th and undergo my procedure on Dec 1st. I will be posting Before and after pictures of the procedure and giving monthly photo updates. With the photos I emailed to Dr Rahal's office which are in my profile for all to see, he has estimated i will need about 1,600 grafts to restore my hairline and temple points. I have not started any treatments yet, as I will start them after my procedure so I do not suffer any future loss. I am very nervous and excited at the same time about my procedure. I do feel great about the Dr i have chosen, as he is one of the best in his field. Hopefully around this time next year i will post my last photo update and start my new life with a new full head of hair. Its going to be a very long exciting and stressful journey which i hope you all can share with me. Thanks again to all and god bless.
  2. thank you guys for all your input, it is very much appreciated. Basically what happened was i am a very self conscious person and my friends began telling me my hairline was receding noticeably 3 years ago. My hairline is a bit odd now because one side goes up a lot more than the other. When i go out people look at me in my face and then look up to my hairline which doesn't help. I love combing my hair back and i can not do that now because of how far its gone back. I know i will never be bald because no one in my family is really bald. I just want to not have to hide my hairline and comb my hair to the front, I dont want to have to worry about the wind blowing, it raining and messing up my hair and showing my receding hairline. I know i can conceal it well but its still in the back of my mind. For me to be comfortable I believe this is my only option but at the same time you all are very much right and i should do a lot more research for who would be the best doctor who performs FUE surgery and will give me the results i am looking for. I was thinking either Dr Feller, Dr Rahel or Dr Umar, but i will do much more research before i decide which one can do the best FUE surgery and at what cost. As i want the most unnoticeable surgery and i want a full and thick hairline. as that is key to me and i am sure anyone else who wants to do a HT. But thank you all again for the reply's its great to see people actually care to help another person with their problems.
  3. "ANY REGULARS can you please help me out with these questions i have asked??" I am tired of being depressed and need help please. I want the best results and i figured this would be the best place to get the info on the best FUE doctors available. Hey guys, I am new to this site and since i have been looking into FUE and having the procedure done i just wanted your guys opinion on it and the doctor i am choosing. Nothing is set in stone yet but i am consulting with Dr Umar as i have seen the work he has done in some videos of his and how he only does FUE. I have been losing my hair since the age of 23, you can see my pictures in my profile i took them yesterday. I greatly prefer FUE as i do not want the strip scar, as i love cutting my hair really short on the sides. I realize and have read that FUT is superior to FUE in yield/growth but the scaring from the surgery is far less noticeable than FUT in my opinion, but I have also read if you go to the right surgeon for FUE he can provide you with excellent results which would be close if not on par with FUT procedures. The good doctor says i only need 1500 grafts to restore my hairline hopefully close to what i have seen in his videos from patients with moderate receding hairlines like mine. I have read that People with moderate receding hairlines with thick curly hair can experience a great result with FUE because since my hair is curly it can cover more and look more dense, Is this true?? Please any comments would be appreciated and recommendations of a good FUE doctors would be too, Do you guys think Dr Umar is more than qualified to do my procedure?? But as i stated before FUT via strip surgery is not an option for me as i love cutting my hair very short on the sides and do not want to be cut on like that. I think my receding hairline is moderate enough to where FUE would be just as good as FUT considering the thickness and density of my hair. Thanks again guys for any comments posted
  4. thanks for the advice bro. How much does it cost per month??? also it seems no one has answered my other questions i had posted . can Someone please help me out with advice on what i had asked???
  5. Wow doctor that hairline looks phenomenal. If i had just met him i deff would not be able to tell he had any surgery. One question tho whats the back of his head look like if shaven using a number 1 guard??? I am very interested in seeing a persons strip scar 2 years after the procedure, as most pictures only show u the scar when the procedure is done and then they have to grow their hair out to hide the strip scar.
  6. yes all the time man. I feel for you bro, if i were to put up my pictures of me at the age of 23 with a full head of hair and the build i had because at that time i really cared about my outlook, no way you would be able to tell thats me. If my hair loss had never started then i know for a fact my life would have been different. This is why i don't want to wait anymore and i want to do something about it. instead of moping around feeling sorry for myself thinking of what could have been, when i should just get up and do it.
  7. one more questions and this is a little off topic, i hear when your hairs start to turn grey it becomes permanent and does not fall out. I personally think this is a myth but figured this would be the best place to ask. As i have got a lot of grey hairs in the past 3 years as well, dont know if you can see it in the pictures but there's a lot.
  8. No sir i am not as i hear it has loads of side effects one in particular which is sexual and i do enjoy my sex lol. I also hear if you do suffer from that side effect even if you come off of it you can still suffer from it for the rest of your life. I heard and read that from people and Wiki when you google it. I was on rogaine tho for a good while but that did almost nothing. I am looking for a more permanent solution to my problems as when i stop taking these meds the hair i would have grown would just fall out. But thanks for your input do you have anything to add to the success rate of fin and the side effects of it?? if i got my transplant i would deff go back on rogaine to maintain the hair i have left. Also how much is fin???? isn't it like 10 to 15 dollars a pill or something???
  9. Also i am not doing any body hair transplantation, as i don't need to because i have ample amount of head hair that can be used for this procedure and any future ones i may need if my hairline recedes any further. Also do you guys think i am a good candidate for an FUE procedure?
