  1. I wouldn't be surprised if you did. Anythings possible with Dr Rahal.
  2. NOOO, you have to take a new pic with your hair grown out 2 months not an old one, that won't work and no doctor will accept that. I really don't know why you wont let your hair grow out for 2 months now. Just put a hat on for those 2 months. Its a small price to pay for having a life changing HT.
  3. I don't know, in some of the pics it looks like you're even thinning on the top of your head. If anything you need to grow your hair out to really see whats going on. Until you do that everyone including yourself are just going to be playing the guessing game. I know for a fact doctor's dont like playing the guessing game. So grow your hair out for 2 months.
  4. Yes for FUE but i believe its only 4 dollars a graft for FUT. By judging your hair loss i think you would be best suited for FUT.
  5. I also use to model about 3 years ago before my hair became unmanageable. I have been losing my hair since i was 23 and i am 29 now but it had become a lot worse in the past 3 years. When i get the pre op pics you will see what i am talking about. Here's a pic i took in Slovakia 3 years ago before it had become unmanageable.
  6. If done right they are not noticeable at all. This is also why i chose FUE, being able to choose all hair styles is a huge plus for me. Oh and by the way KAMEHHAMEHA!!! JK man lol
  7. I believe he charges 8 dollars per graft FUE
  8. No not at all. I like to leave it about 2 or 3 inches on the top comb it back and a number 1 on the sides. That's why i chose FUE because i knew cutting it to a 1 or skin fade on the sides with FUT would not be possible.
  9. He said at most I would be a NW3 or NW4. No one in my family is bald we just have receding hairlines, lol. I call it the Vegeta hairline or the Robocop, LOL.
  10. I noticed you are using generic Minox "Kirkland", I also ordered that off amazon for a really good price but was wondering if you are experiencing any side effects from it??
  11. Yes I have lots of pre op pics and post but i am waiting for them to be emailed to me, as soon as they are i will post them for all of you to see. No i am not on any meds because I talked to a few people there and they had told me they were experiencing a little less sexual desire with fin. So i decided not to take it. They gave me a list of vitamins i should take, i ordered those off amazon and started taking them all today. I will be starting Rogaine in 14 days as instructed and will probably be using it for the rest of my life. The procedure took 3 hours to extract the hairs and 2 and a half hours to implant them, so 5 1/2 hours total. You can't go wrong with Dr.Rahal and his team namely Mike, they truly care about the results you receive and your care.
  12. Check it out guys. I had 1,627 grafts done on the 1st of Dec 2011 and can barley tell anything has been done. Thanks to Dr. Rahal and his team. Comments appreciated.
  13. FUE is a much longer process. For about 3,000 grafts it would take around 12 hours to complete. I just had 1,627 FUE done on me. It took about 5 1/2 to 6 hours to complete everything, extraction and implantation.
  14. It might be just ask them. They told me shaving it all off is best tho. but 3 on the sides isn't very long so i don't see anything wrong with that. Shouldn't be a problem to clean i don't think.
  15. Oh i had FUE done not FUT, I should have said that sorry. My hair has already pretty much covered the tiny punches they made after only 4 days. Wife says she can barley see anything. A guy a met down there had an FUT done, he didn't shave all his hair off and was crying about how difficult it was to clean it.
  16. Yeah I had them shave everything. They had told me it will be much easier to clean the area.
  17. So he can see exactly what needs to be done, how many miniaturized hairs you have. he draws out the areas that need work before they shave it off.
  18. Shave it all of man, its very difficult to clean with hair there and its just a lot cleaner. youre going to have to use a spray bottle to wash your hair for the next week so that cant be very comfortable with hair getting in the way. Mike also told me i should shave it and hes the one whos going to shave your hair tomorrow.
  19. Also sleep on the recliner in the living room at night, they're the most comfortable. lol trust me i tried them all. Best wishes again m8
  20. Tell Gram which is the guy from London you're staying with that Kenny says Hello and that he hopes hes doing ok. Good luck tomorrow man you really are in the best hands.
  21. Congrats m8, I would wish you luck but you don't need it because your in great hands. Good luck anyway tho. Don't forget to tell Mike Kenny say's wheres the Chewbacca, lol. Have a safe trip Cap.
  22. Because hes hoping another top surgeon will tell him hes magically grown 300 to 400 more grafts so he can have his 3000 graft procedure. Which probably won't happen as Spex has stated he doesn't think he has that much left in his donor area. thus wanting to go to another clinic trying to get that magic number.
  23. yes its very good for only 7 months as i believe you grow untill 12 months and then your hair matures until 18 months if i am correct. either way great result and you're only half way there
  24. I have read it takes at least 10 days for the hairs to take root and putting any type of ointment on them and then rubbing can dislodge them even tho that didn't happen to you doesn't mean it can't happen to someone else. When you google it this site comes up and bill answers the question and here is his answer. Question: So I finally went through with getting a hair transplant. It is now my second week and my scalp is very itchy. I see a lot of dandruff on my grafts and the itch is almost unbearable. Is this normal? I wash daily, but very carefully. Answer: Congratulations on your recent hair restoration procedure. You can rest easy as scalp dryness, dandruff, and itchiness is very normal the first couple weeks. You can try using Aloe Vera which may help temporarily soothe the scalp. Other anti-itch ointments and solutions also exist such as Benadryl that you could consider if the itch is too intense. It would be wise however, to wait until at least 10 days to start massaging anything topically into the scalp to give your transplanted hair the proper time they need to take root. But then again every clinic does have their own way which is odd maybe a real doctor could answer this for us?? How long does it take for the hairs to take proper root??
