  1. Hi InNeedSomeHair,

It depends the patient’s condition. If the patient has traction alopecia than nothing is going to help to bring the hair back, except for a hair transplant. If the patient has female pattern baldness, then they can use a topical product such as Rogaine, however Rogaine is not the only treatment that should be used to help to promote hair growth.

  2. Thanks to HairStudmuffin HairStudmuffin ,

David - TakingThePlunge ,MusoInOz,InNeedSomeHair, we appreciate you taking the time to view and comment on our hair artwork and videos! Of course hair loss is a serious condition that affects our patients, we always treat it as such. We strife to showcase our work in an artistic manner, which is in keeping with Dr. Arocha's artistic perspective. Have a great weekend!!

  3. This patient that is in his early 60's came to Arocha Hair Restoration with advance stages of hair loss (NW VI) . We recommended and performed FUT of 4086 FU's. He came back in to AHR for follow- up nine months later to discuss filling in his crown region. He now has the framing of his face that he desires and his results will continue to improve over the next several months. He does not take finasteride, but we recommended it again to help with coverage in the crown area.

  4. Anytime surgery is performed or skin is wounded a scar results. Scars are the body’s attempt at healing. Scars result from any surgical procedure, whether it is an FUE or Strip Harvest. Certain individual characteristics, such as increased scalp laxity, predispose to wider scar formation. However, scars can be minimized by the practice of maintaining the tension on the skin surface to a minimum. Traditional Strip Harvest should produce a linear scar, however, it should only be faintly visible if the principle of minimizing surface tension is adhered to.

The photos below showcase the results of patients that have had surgery at Arocha Hair Restoration.

  5. Ultraklassic,

Thanks for the kind words about Dr. Arocha. We are happy to hear that you had a good experience during your surgery with Dr. Feldman. We have no trouble in believing you had surgery. Our office is located in the Upper Kirby/River Oaks area, you consider this a ghetto? Are you sure you visited Dr. Arocha in Houston? Here is a video of our office:
