  1. aloe vera helped for me as well as a concentration on eating anti inflammatory foods.
  2. i can totally support everything that you have said about dr bisanga and his team.
  3. i think it looks absolutely amazing. and your still at 6 months where they say you are about 60% of final result.
  4. agree with cueball, it will come down to who u feel more comfortable with after consulting with each
  5. Thx, it's my way of giving back . What do u mean my coat is really fine.
  6. Day 10, feeling great, all scabs in recipient are off now. Walked in a crowded mall yesterday, no cap on and no one even looked twice at my head. Looks so natural. Grafts have not really grown at all which I am told is totally normal. Getting use to having a hairline and hair on top. Next few months will be tuff when all grafts fall out. But it's part of the process and just means I'm o e step closer to final result.
  7. I had my procedure with Dr bisanga dec 9 and 10 . If you have any specific questions pls feel free to ask me.
  8. No way that's 3000 grafts. The growth u got looks on par to the amount of grafts u seem to ha e recieved . Seems like 1500-1700 grafts to me.
  9. Having just gone through a great experience with Dr bisanga and his team, I would surely recommend Dr bisanga.nthat bring said, I think very highly of Dr lorenzo as well. I think you should consult with each and see who you feel more comfortable with. For Dr bisanga you can contact sl who is on this site and acts as Dr bisangas patient advisor. His service, experience and knowledge was a big part in me chosing Dr bisanga.
  10. Bith Dr are top of the top. You really can't go wrong. I would say ten days post op when all scabs are off you can look normal. Check out my thread, and pma. We are both higher nw and each had recent fue. Me with bisanga and pma with lorenzo.
  11. Pre op, post op and current pics are always good if u can provide.
  12. Thx levrais. U were definitely a huge help to me. Now hopefully I get through ugly duckling phase in next few months and get good growth thereafter.
  13. Exactly as pma said. We can always tweak hairline at a later stage
  14. Thanks busa, thx pma. Being a higher nw and only wanting to do fue, you need a smart plan. Dr bisanga and sl helped in putting forward a smart plan for me. But , the patient themself must also be realistic in their expectations. Nw 5 going to 6 cannot expect to get a hairline like when ur 21 again,. My plan was to go conservative for the hairline and mid scalp. Conserve grafts for crown and second op. As Dr bisanga and sl said, we can always lower hairline at a later stage if we see we have enough grafts. But what u can't do is reverse a lower hairline, nor get back all the grafts u could waste in getting a low hairline and be left with no grafts left a and a slick bald crown. I also realize that I will never have a extremely dense head of hair. The goal for a higher nw is get a good illusion of coverage.
  15. Day 5 started getting very very itchy in donor. Tip, which was given by Dr bisanga and sl, I took warm bath, soaked donor for five minutes, lightly massaging donor, scabs melted off, then applied tons of aloe Vera. This helped enormously.
  16. Day 7 recipient. Tomorrow I can begin washing and lightly massaging the scabs on the recipient
  17. Meant to say, being a higher nw,,, stupid spell check.
  18. Thx ko, brings higher nw, we have to plan smart . Thankfully, the higher hairline suits me real good, and being 36 it's appropriate. Hey just the fact I have a hairline again is totally awesome. Havent had a hairline is forever.
  19. Looks a scabibier than I would expect. Pma and myself both had 3200 grafts and less scabs, but I'm sure by day 10 scabs will be gone and it will be fine
  20. Long journey indeed Garageland, couldn't be happier with my choice and happy I finally did it. If all grows out well I plan to return fir second op in about a year to address the crown. In the meantime, I will be starting rogaine foam for he crown and sides two weeks post op. Hopefully it will help keep sides and give some improvement to crown
  21. Looks too spaced out to me for hairline, but u will need to wait it out to see how it grows out.
