1. good topic, as many said, i think having a head full of hair is a plus of course, but if you bald and embrace it and work hard on other features like your body, dress, and personality it would get you around with hot women as well.... plus, hair is not everything, i mean you have other features on your face that counts as well.. you can find many not attractive men who have full head of hear and on the other hand you can find many bald men who have nice features that look really good.. look at some of the balding actors or those who shave, some of them look really good even though they got no hair and others are not attractive at all even with their amazing hair.. take Edward Norton for example, i think he looks way better with shaved head (american history x) than he looks with hair.

at the end of the day, if you bad looking you bad looking regardless if you have a hair or not, and vice versa.

  2. what norwood scale are you? are you on any medications ?

i think it's better to consult other top surgeons even if you are not planning to go abroad just to hear their opinion and compare it to the one you have.... maybe you will later be convinced and change your mind.

  3. Thanks for the link Levrais, that looks amazing.. i knew those pictures do not look right. since the scars are way big that i think they will be way noticeable even with level 1 or 2 buzz.

I am not sure about the punch that was used but the guy says he had it back in 2006 somewhere in india. i think it all depends on who perform the FUE and the punch size which is being used.

  4. I ain't no expert and am not sure what 2000 would do for you, maybe they won't give you a really good density. but the thing you have to consider is that once you go strip you will not be able to buzz your hair down to 1 nor 2 guards because of the scar. so you have to wear your hair longer..... so it's up to you whether you wanna buzz it now and move on or go through strip and lose the option of buzzing it really short even if the outcome is not satisfactory.

btw where did you have your previous FUE procedures ? im pretty surprised since i have seen many great doctors who perform FUE in an outstanding way.

  5. I was looking around for more pictures and examples and i came across those images of somebody who had FUE only. to be honest, this does not look good at all in my opinion, it may even look worst that the strip scar, since it's all over the head and it looks like a skin disease or something, please check the images and let me know what you think.

Is this normal ? or maybe this was done long time ago when FUE started and nowadays FUE scars don't look like that any more

  6. it looks really good in the pic, even at 7 days i don't think anybody can tell that he got HT, it does show some redness but i assume ppl will think that he just got some zits or whatever, but i don't think they can tell it's an HT.

but again i wonder if it looks that good in real, as you know pictures can be deceiving.

Thanks for this example, hope we can get more by other members.

  7. I'm not sure if this subject was brought up before, it is very common question, but unfortunately i don't seem to find any accurate answer neither here or on Google.

Is there anybody here who shave their head after an HT (FUE or FUT "with improved scar either from laser treatment or FUE session")

I really hope anybody can upload pictures so members of the community can see for themselves how would the FUT scar or FUE little dot scars look on a shaved head.

I am sure most people when going through an HT, they want to enjoy their hair and never shave it, but let's face it, we have a limited donor supply, and medicines don’t work for everybody while losing hair is progressive, so some people would keep losing native hair and end up with no decision but to shave due to their limited donor supply or tight budget.

Now if this happen, how would the scars look exactly, I wish I can hear from people who experience that, cause I don’t trust most of the photos I find on Google since anybody can play with them.

Will appreciate the feedback from any FUE, FUT patient.

  8. Yet it seems that we have not been successful in this case. We do not think we have reached a common level of trust where we can communicate, discuss and agree on a solution with our patient. This, we understand through the fact that Mr Albion was perfectly kind to us while in Istanbul, yet did not ask the questions on his mind freely and openly to us as he did on the forum.

I give credit to TM for admitting that they have not been successful in this case instead of trying to defend their work.

Good luck with your next HT Albion. hope things work out well for you.

  9. Hey Bill,

With all due respect but i believe deactivating corvettester's account is a big big mistake that is not even justified, he is free to say whatever he wants as long as he does not call people names and insult them. i saw him alot commenting on topics with bad results and it's not his mistake that Dr. Feller has alot of them recently. yes he was against Dr. feller on this thread but he wasn't the only one, actually some members even went far to asking people to never go to Dr. Fellers ever again and they were not banned (which i believe it is right because this is freedom of speech and they are stating their opinions).

To be honest, after reading this thread thoroughly, i believe the only one deserved being banned and deleted is Dr. Feller himself. he is the only one who was calling people (jessie) names such as sick, liar, and threaten of suing him, and also insulting almost all of his unsatisfied patients accusing them of having agendas by trying to get free surgeries, without even caring about their loss and feelings. let's face it, all of those unsatisfied patients believed in Dr. Feller and choose him over lots of other qualified and professional doctors in the fields and paid lots of money for their procedures only to be disappointed not only by the outcome but by the attacks they got from Dr. Feller in a very unprofessional way that i have never seen any doctor doing it, im only saying that so Dr. Feller understand that those people do not hate him, as a matter of fact they had great respect for him at first which made them choose him and put their faith in him, so he should respect their opinions instead of calling them liars and attacking them and threaten to suit them.

let's face it, in all of Dr. Fellers "bad results" topics, corvettester was not the only one against him, actually people who were attacking Dr. Feller were way more than those who were defending him.

I just had to say what i believe to be the right thing even though i know that i might be banned as well (which i hope not), and i hope that this forum embrace the freedom of speech and let people express their feelings freely without being afraid of getting banned.

I hope you reactivate corvettester account, and im sure im not the only one in this forum who hopes so. i am against banning anybody for saying their opinions but again if there is somebody who deserve that it in this topic it sure wasn't corvettester.

    Thanks,

  10. Your surgery went extremely well, especially for an FUE procedure, .

Spex put a huge amount of emphasis on the uncertainties of FUE and was very very critical of it. So much so I was almost knocked over as to how negative he was sounding about it in comparison to his initial consultation. He rubbished FUE and said that he was one of the’ lucky ones’.

Dr Feller 1000 FUE sept 2010

OK, here is the thing, I am considering a FUE in the near future. I have been reading a lot of posts in this forum regarding FUE, and many suggest Dr. Feller and list him as one of the best doctors to go to when it comes to FUE.

To be honest, After reading this post thoroughly, I don't see how Dr. Feller is being recommended for this kind of surgery because to me it seems like he himself does not believe in it and has doubts about the outcome. Not only him, but according to jessie, also Dr. Feller's consultant (Spex) believes that the success of FUE depends on LUCK!!!!!

I have contacted some of the other recommended surgeons who perform FUT and FUE and they assure me that the outcome of both will be similar and the density will actually be almost the same, the only difference is that in FUT one day session will be enough, while in FUE i need 2 or 3 sessions (2 to 3 days) to complete the job since there is a limited number of grafts they can extract in each session. also of course the FUE will cost much more.

So based on that, i believe Dr. Feller should only be recommended for FUT (which he might be excellent at) but not FUE.

people who are looking to perform FUE are looking for a doctor that believes he can get the same result like FUT specially since they will be paying way extra for that.

    Regards,

  11. so once you start balding, if you don't use medication would you keep losing hair till you reach norwood 6 or 7 ? or is it possible to just stop losing hair even without using medications ?

The reason i ask is because i see many people who is half bald, which means their hairline starts from the middle of their head (they lost their hair line and the front but they still have the middle backward), i hope im making since because i don't know the right words for that, so many of those people would just stay like that even when they age, and i don't think all of them are using medications.

so is there away where someone can check whether they will lose the rest of their hair and become norwood 6 or 7, or they they will keep what they have ? would doctors be able to check on that ? or there is no way to check and you can only wait and see ?

  12. I have seen many great results of Dr. Keser and he is currently on the top of my list, since im considering doing FUE as well and i prefer a surgeon who embrace this technique and not somebody who can do it but still recommend me to do FUT.

The main thing I like about his work is the density he provides with fewer amounts of grafts. However, I am still looking whether anybody had bad experience with him or not.

I hope we get more feedback from people who actually did their HT with him, because so far I haven’t seen any bad results coming from him nor anybody complaining about his work.

and it's always better to hear directly from people who been through the HT than just watching youtube videos and seeing before and after photos, so i really hope that we can get more feedback on him.

  13. sorry to hear about your problem at your young age.

I am no expert but if i were in your place i would do the following:

start shaving my head and use rogaine to maintain what I have, till im ready for HT or they find a cure for baldness (which might be in the next 10 years).

Work out hard, since people with shaved heads and NICE bodies do attract girls,... and by doing that you will feel good about your self and your body will give you the confident that your hair was once taking away from you....

  14. Thanks guys, i think i will do that for the meantime till im ready for the HT, i believe this option would be good even if i don't go for HT since buzzing your hair while having some hair on top looks still better than buzzing it while there is no hair at all in the crown and vertex area.

One more thing, i read alot about rogaine and some people say that if you use it and then quit you will lose even more hair than you used to lose before using it, but some other people say you will only lose the hair that grew because of it, but your native hair lose might progress but on the same level that was before using rogaine (NOT MORE). on other words, if i use rogaine and quit, would i experience more native hair lose than im experiencing now ???? (even though right now my hair is kinda thin from the crown and vertex but im not experiencing any visible hair lose) but I want to use the rogain to thicken my hair and keep what I have.

Please let me know your opentions.

  15. Hello everybody,

I am considering an HT in the future, but im not sure if im ready for it this year.. my hair line is almost gone and i would like to keep shaving my head with trimmer until im ready for the HT. but meanwhile, i really do not want to lose any hair on the crown and vertex since they already thin, and would like to try to thicken them or at least keep what i have for now till i go for my HT. my question is can i use Rogaine Foam on shaved head ? like can i keep shaving my head and applying the foam on a daily basis, would that keep that i have and maybe make it more thick or it is useless and i have to keep whatever have i have long in order to use the foam or liquid ?

    your reply is highly appreciated.

  16. thanks for the reply.. you are right, but i was thinking that maybe there is different types of balding.. sometimes i see ppl who lost all of their hairs except the sides and backs but also i see some people (from all ages) who lost the front of their hairs only (the hairline starts from the middle of their heads) and they still have the rest of the hairs.

so im not sure if i could be one of those people which i wish i can confirm, so that i can get HT for the front of my hair without worrying about losing the rest of the native hair.

  17. Hello,

I started losing hair like 7 years or 8 years ago (when i was 22 or 23), anyways. since i was 24 i have been shaving my hair as short as possible using a trimmer. I have been doing that regularly for like 5 years, so i never noticed any hair lose during that time since i was already shaving. now i decided to let my hair grow and bit since im considering an HT, of course my hair line is a mess and the front of my hair is bad, but from the middle back ward (crown) it's not bad.

I try to scratch my hair hard on the shower or on the sink but i never see any hairs falling or sticking to my hands, does that mean my hair lost stopped? what is the best way to confirm whether im still losing hair or not ? im not on medications at all nor foam.

can somebody please let me know.....

P.S my crown area ain't that thick and I think it thined too if you compare it to the time before I started shaving. But I don't see my hair falling any more!!

  18. Thanks Cardel... i see your point, i have been buzzing down my hair for a while, which actually looks pretty good on me from the front view (but i hate the profile because of my nose, which i never had issues with back when i used to wear my hair long), as you know having long hair covers those stuff. so im not happy with that and i really wanna do something about it, either have an HT or a nose job (and live the rest of my life happy with buzzed hair). HT is a better option for me since it's restoring your own hair without changing who you are, i never thought of having a nose job since i was always against those plastic surgeries procedures, but I really wanna do something about my overall look, so I hope the HT option works out for me.

  19. Thanks for the reply guys.

I am still debating whether to go on meds or not. actually as per my readings, the sexual effects (at least to some degree) seem to apply on MANY ppl who using those meds (not just small percentage) and there are even topics on this forum where people state their experience and talk about the effect they faced and the lack of sex drive they had while on them, some of them recovered after quitting but some of them did not go back to normal even after quitting them, and to me that is something I really don’t wanna play with (it’s more important than hair to me J )

This is why I asked for AVOGAIN MINOXIDIL %2 or %5 because I read some doctors suggesting using it after the HT to keep the existing hair (not growing back any of the old hair though, only maintain the remaining ones)

As per the FUE, i have seen some perfect results to some cases like mine done by good Drs as BHR in Belgium or Keser in Turkey. and they results were very professional with great coverage and density. And this is actually what made me think of doing it, I know it costs more, but I don’t mind that as long as it will give me the freedom to buzz my head in the future. I don’t mind to go through another operation after couple of years if needed if that option will make me avoid meds.
