  1. I agree with Aaron. Don't waste your money on those scar products, time will make the difference.
  2. I think this clinic you are thinking of using is the one Wayne Rooney is supposed to have used. I think its unwise to use a clinic just because a celebrity has allegedly used them. Use this forum to do lots of research before you make a decision.
  3. Dr. Lindsey, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  4. The actor James Nesbitt went to somewhere called Blackrock? Is this a chain? I saw him recently in a TV show and his HT looked good to me, I'm really no expert though and i wasnt looking for concealer . James Nesbitt looks hairier than ever at charity gala after undergoing hair transplant | Mail Online
  5. I do have a few fine hairs, more on my right side than left but they dont show up well on camera yet . Its great to see them after absolutely no hair on the scars for three years.
  6. That is a very good result by Dr. Feller, if i get a similar result , i will be opening the champagne! Paul, sorry to hear your news about the second opinion. I dont know anything about cloning but it sounds like it may be a while befor it happens. Sounds good though, like calorie free cake, safe cigarettes, scarless surgery and the eternal youth pill, bring it on:)
  7. I also think you should get more opinions. I know quite a few people who have been told things couldnt be done but other surgeons did it successfully.
  8. I'm not sure this will make your hair silky but some people say Cod Liver Oil is good for creating healthy , shiny hair. It has vitamins A and D and is generally good for your health. The oil in a bottle is supposed to be the best way to take it, the capsules are not as good, thats what Ive heard. I always take it when i get a seasonal shedding and i think it helps.
  9. Hi aasyd, All the best with your HT, hope it all grows well for you . I also went to Dr. Lindsey and I can only echo what you said. I travelled from the UK and I have no regrets, it was worth the journey. Thanks for posting your story and hope you return with updates.
  10. I had FUE with Dr. Lindsey for two bald patches caused by an endoscopic browlift three years ago. They were caused by the endoscope being inserted into the scalp and so there is scarring present. I am only just over two months out from the FUE so its too early to say how much growth i will have but i do have a few very fine hairs pushing through on one side.
  11. It looks good but is it truly permanent or does it fade over the years? Also, what happens if the patient loses more hair and just the pigment is visible, does it look OK or unnatural?
  12. I think you may have to e-mail Miss J to ask her if you can join. It is a very informed forum and well worth the effort to join. Miss Js has alot more traffic than Makemeheal, specialising in facial aesthetics.
  13. The Korean surgeon is discussed on Miss Js forum. I think its very invasive surgery with a long recovery.
  14. Thats quite a list. I guess the time you wait will depend on how happy you are with your HT result and when you feel confident to move on from that. Have you found the US plastic surgery forums which specialise in this kind of surgery. This forum is fantastic for HT but you may find forums like makemeheal or Miss Js facial plastic surgery forum useful for the other procedures. They all require extensive research and as with all surgery, even with the best surgeons, results are not guaranteed.
  15. That is a really nice result, good photos. KM77, good luck with your procedure.
  16. Hi, Thanks for posting your experience. May i ask who did the work, you sound like the original poster called 'Hairgirl' who was thinking of using Epstein.
  17. This clinic was recommended to me by a UK plastic surgeon. He told me i needed 800 grafts via strip. Dr. Lindsey said 200
  18. Transform were recently discussed on the forum, they were featured on a TV programme on chanel 4. Here is the link http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/161078-hair-transplants-channel-4-uk-tv.html The HT work didnt look good . They also have many unhappy patients on UK plastic surgery forums. Good marketing and easy payment terms keep them busy but the work they do can be poor.
  19. OMG, your right, that is REALLY old news, he went through the whole procedure with his surgeon. I think your right, he does use some kind of concealer.
  20. I guess it is 'old news' BUT it was in todays Mail so there might be something new in there, anyway i think its worked well. I agree with one of the comments at the bottom of the article, he did need a personality transplant more..
  21. Another UK TV celebrity got a HT and has told his story today in the press. Jason Gardiner reveals surgeon's pre-operative photograph after ?22,000 hair transplant | Mail Online
  22. When i first saw this patient I was amazed the hairline could be lowered this much, that it would actually stretch forward to such a degree. I think this type of browlift is better than the coronal which elevates the hairline and the endoscopic which has limitations and can fall . The patient also avoided having lots of grafts, she must be pleased. The scar looks very good, thats obviously very important in that area and a skilled surgeon is essential. Good work.
