Lasse. Btw is generic propecia coming to Denmark in 2012 so if youcant find any docs that will give you the 5 mg pill then you can buy finpecia to 2012 and then get generic propecia described. Your doc cant deny you propecia or the generic version when it comes to the marked. Because it is approved to fight hailoss which the 5 mg arent. In so high dosage it do helps fighting hairloss aswell but it is firstly used to fight prostate cancer and enlarged prostate.

Whereabouts are you from? And from where did you get the treatments?

Hi i am from Denmar. I have gotten fin and nizoral prescribed by my doc. I use Kirkland aswell. I dont think that its the best product out there but its so much cheaper Im buying it of ebay. Where it cost 15 $ for a half years supply. In 2012 a generic foam is coming to the market so it wount be that expensive to buy the foam which should be better han the liquid.

Hi suffrin. I would say its a 10 definately after seeing your pics. Your crown region could use it. I recommend searching for a tread of Spex where hi writes about how to avoid as many sides as possible with usage of fin.

Hi Lasse. I will answe you in english because its not easy to write in danish as it excludes some of the letters. Its possible to get you doc to subscribe Sanzhos if your doc is understandable. Please advise him that you will cut it to 1/4 and only take 1 mg a day. Please use the search function here to find some treads about fin and how many days a week to take. Please read Dr. Cooleys post about taing fin tree times a week. I would hihgly recommend taking a conservative approach because this drug is powerful. Please search for Spex tread about how to start up on fin. He recommends taking it 1 a week for start and then reducing dosage until you hit the number you want. This could reduce sides.

Please use minoxidil that is in Regaine that you can get prescibed by your doc but it cost 3000 dkk a year. U can find a generic version of it on ebay. Kirkland just search for minoxidil please use the 5 %. Then get your doc to prescribe you Nizoral 2 %. These 3 things are called the big 3 and they will do much for u. I cant recommend using them highly enough. If he wont prescribe Nizoral 2 % then buy the 1 % at a pharmacy. Please search the forum and find out how many times you want to apply it. If he wont prescribe fin then find some otgher doc that will or buy a generic version but be careful. Finpecia is a good known generic. Please dont hesitate to ask for anything in the future.

Hi.

I use generic proscar which is much cheaper the breand name is Sanzhos. You can also use proscar if you want. Both products come in a 5 mg pill you can then cut it into 1/4 with a pill cutter from a pharmacy. Sanzhos cost 100 dkk for a years supply if you take a pill every day. Proscar is around 1000 kr a year. And propecia the original product is around 8000 dkk a year so theres a lot to save. I only take a pill monday-wednesday-friday. Because some research have showen that the effect of taken it 3 times a week and 7 times could be the same. But FDA recommends daily usage.

Do we need to use rogaine or minoxidil for our entire life after the operation to retain our hair? That is quite difficult

Its a life commitment if you want to keep the hairs you gain from using it. You could for maintainence aplly it only once a day. That makes the burden smaller. Bernstein who is recommend by this network suggest using it once a day when you have gained the results you want.

Well the 2 % does prevent better inhibition of DHT. So thats why people are recommending Nizoral over Revita. But it you dont get it prescribed by a doctor and get the 2 % shampoo but only use the 1 % shampoo i think that Revita is a better choice.

Haven't been able to find the 1% on the shelves in the Austin area for a couple of months. Recently got a prescription for the 2% and asked the pharmacist if she knew why they've been out of stock of the 1%. She said that they've re-routed the distribution of the Nizoral supply to the tornado stricken region because they've had an outbreak of some sort of fungal infection going on since the storms.

 

Not sure of the validity of that explanation, but that's what she mentioned anyways.... there's always someone on ebay that's going to clean house on a situation like that I suppose.

If you want 1 % keto. You can might aswell buy revitas shampoo it also contains a lot of other products that should promote health for ones hair. Biotin MSM etc.

I think you should reconsider meds with you advanced hairloss. Before comitting to a HT.

Most doctors recommend starting to use minoxidil 7-14 days post op.

Well the post Dr. Cooley made stated that it is almost as effective. I think that 1 mg inhibits app. 69 % of DHT level in the scalp while 0.2 mg inhibits app. 61 %. If i wasnt using generic proscar but propecia i would reduce my dosage to much less. I dont think that the difference is that big. And not woth the sides

And im not aking you to take meds and get strip surgerys but just to be aware that without those choices you have to accept that you wont have a full head of hair. I think that buzzing down your hair and accepting the baldness is also an option that has to be given much thought.

2 surgeries wolnt do it with that NW stage your are heading to me it looks like you are going to be a NW 6-7. The donor area is finit and you only have 6-10 thousands of grafts that can be harvested and with FUE its not possible to harvest as much as with strip. Not all hairs survive after surgery. So its far away from being able to provide you a full head of hair. Going down the fue road without meds in your case would be crazy in my opinion. You would later on be needing to add a lot of body hairs which is a expensive procedure. Unless you can be accept that you will always have thin see through hair that only on a big distance gives the illusion of density. Try and search for some people here high in NW patterns and see what they look like. If you have a high NW pattern you dont have the chance to pass meds and strip surgery and still demand a full head of hair. This is just my opinion.

Would using AVOGAIN MINOXIDIL %2 or %5 would be OK instead of fin ?

I have heard that it has less side effects and you just apply it to the hair instead of taking pills.

Take a look at the pictures i have attached to my profile. We have similar hairloss. Fin is really the one thing you need to get on if you want to hair on your hair. With such a high NW number you are you cant transplant your way out of loosing hair. Unless you spent loads of money and have several procedures some including lots of body hairs. I have very little sides after decuing dosage to 3 times a week.

This is definately an amazing result.
