  1. Any pre op pics? Be4 any transplant

If you look on my profile I have pictures from pre and post op on my first round.

This second procedure was to address the density that I wanted. The first 1647 FUT i had made a really nice cosmetic change, but I always new that I would need a second for the result that I desired. :)

Thats one of the great things about Dr Dorin, he doesnt sugar coat anything and is 100% realistic in his approach to things.

  2. Just back from my second treatment by Dr Dorin and his team.Day went great, enjoyable as always with such a great practice and the team he employs.

So this was to hopefully finish off my hairline, which has now had a total of 3227 FUT grafts.

Take a look at the scar from my first procedure.

Strip removed and donor closure completed.

Incisions made, ready for grafts to be sited.

Again, thanks to everyone at True and Dorin, I cannot recommend Dr Dorin enough, a pleasure to deal with as always.

I will add some more pictures that were taken on a SLR camera by the clinic, once Ive been for my cleanup tomorrow.

  3. Im nearly 2 years from my first procedure which saw 1647 FUT added to my hairline.

I am happy with the result, and always knew I'd be looking at 2 procedures minimum to achieve what I wanted with a hairline that Im happy with.

Im now at the point where I'd like to go for a second transplant, but Im still deciding on where to go for this and whether to do FUE or FUT.

My scar from my first procedure is so neat, it seems a shame to revisit, but I know plenty have just as good results on scar neatness on the second procedure.

Im quite limited for time after my procedure and cannot take any time off, outside of my 2 weeks off that I get after 2 weeks that I work away.

Also hiding the op is a big thing for me, which I managed fine last time with longer hair and my linear scar from FUT.

I would definitely go back to Dr Dorin, who I found very good the first time, the only thing Im not quite happy with is, is some cobble stoning which I still have.

Also, the recipient site has some redness still, which you can see in the picture (these were taken just after a shower, when it looks much worse, I might add).

Europe would be much easier for me, due to timeframe, but like I say, Dorin and his team were great to deal with.

Some pictures here, the redness like I say, is much more prominent after a shower/bath etc.

Just thinking out loud here, be interested to hear peoples views.

  4. Overwhelming opinion is to do nothing with your crown and I have to agree. You look like you have a thick head of hair from the rear shot. You can put dermmatch on but I don't think that's even needed.

Hi Janna, thanks for that. I've always had a visible crown, I was just stressing that it had maybe got bigger......sometimes you look for something that isnt there!

Im fine with having the whirl, just wanted to hear other opinions on my hair.

    :)
