Hello and thank you for your informative opinion, I will certainly meet with Dr farjo or his and his team...I feel that this may be the option for me... especially as he is local, (UK) based. I will continue with some consultations first with different suregeons as you suggest where possible. I'm not in a hurry but would like to move forward with new procedures and if possible MSP, in case I dont have enough donor for full procedure which I am sure I do not.

This is the suregon for Hair procedures with Vinci - London - Dr Nikos Kyriacous - -Anyone know anything about this surgeon?

Ive heard horror stories and some good stories about Vinci Hairs clinic in London? Any one knows anything about them. I am having consultations with Dr Farjo Clinic and HIS for MSP, I will consider all advice and options before having any surgery. As mentioned above I have had a lot of surgery already but its old and outdated, I definitely need my hairliine repaired, whilst it is acceptable, 15 years on, Im sure techniques have improved and I understand that Dr Farjo team are the best, My main focus is always the hair line, the rest can be filled somehow. I know I dont have enough donor to cover everything, so MSP will be possibly the extra I need to at least give an illusion of coverage, but a good hairline as mentioned is definitely the first priority...

Other highly recommended surgeons in UK would be much appreciated.

There is an option depending on costs of course to fly to USA - Hasson and Wong and have work done there, depends on the balance of costs. As yet in UK there are precious few super surgeons that can be relied on...Dr May when I had surgery was not one of them (at least from my experience) and Lathams did a reasonable repair and additional work when I was in USA. Well thanks for this, it really helps, Yes 15 years ago Lathams were better than many, but times have moved on, Maybe I could have one last strip and then after see where it take me. I do have a large area to cover and I am quite sure I do not have enough donor area for density. Thats why I am looking at SP, but for sure I will see Dr Farjo and Hasson and Wong, Konior.. thank you. PS, I have many photos in my profile of the recent position, I will dig out some early photos after and during procedure at lathams, but at least they corrected Frankensteins work Dr May, maybe he has improved now, but I certainty would not trust him again..

Hi everyone, Im thinking of having Scalp Pigmentation with FUE. My previous was 15 years ago strip grafts. I first had Frankenstein Dr May in London with Slit grafts a complete disaster. after much research Lathems came to my rescue. I was in Nashville singing country music at the time. 93-98. Now I am 15 years down the road and getting thin on top. Front line is looking ok still but I will have this improved. I have limited donor area so I will focus on front and crown area and a little to the side if I have enough donor. So Scalp Pigmentation to the rescue.. I am having consultations in UK in October/November and will try to report back. any info or advice is always appreciated. My GLH spray has worked well for 4 years but Im fed up of brown pillow cases.. SP might do the trick to assist the coverage and darken the thinner areas. I will never have a full head of hair until they discover the gene for hair growth, but I think I can always be presentable. I'm 54 years old now and when i spend a little time on my hair it still looks great and not many people know Ive had procedures. I have had hair transplants from Lathams, they did a good job after Dr May from London sliced me about and today I was suppsoed to be having a consultation from NUHART but I had my suspicions anyway. I can smell bad practices I think, and the consultation online was a no show by NuHart, and I made a stink about it to them.....They don't sound good at all, the excuse was that the Consultant was unable to get on line, amongst other excuses!"!

I spend 15 quid a month on internet fees and never have a problem getting online !! !

Ok, I'm back on the look out for a great surgeon to complete my hair job. I want a surgeon who does FUE and single hairs for front line and I need my crown and Mid head area worked on. Crown first, front hair line then mid areas of head.

Any recommendations. I am happy to travel to USA or Asia.

I want a surgeon who can do fine work as my hair is fine.

Photos show hair open to view hair loss, and Hair how it is worn with hairspray on a day to day basis.

I need a good surgeon !

Does anyone have experience with NuHart. They are in USA and UK and other countries, obviously heavy marketing behind them and I wonder if the procedures are good or do they differ from Country to Country. I am considering NuHart in London , but had good result with Lathams in Huntsvills, Alabama USA.

Does anyone know anything about NU/HART Clinics ?

You can see the pic attached for front line, I had some work done on the crown and one or two maybe correective slits left, we never worried about that then, but generally I will have more on Crown and will send foto. I was more concerned with front line but will concentrate on crown now and maybe top of head. (I'm thinning all over, but I have longer hair and it workds well brushed over the forehead so the front line is clearly shown, then a little hair spray and its all not so bad. I may go for shorter hair later but not just now.

What can I say. at 32 years old I considered hair transplants. A foolish decision on reflection. I had consultations with a Dr May from UK, who at the time discussed slit grafts. After several consultations and being ignorant of the world of Hair surgery and naive, I had a hair transplant proceedure...dissaster followed.

It was in Harley Street London. I took a train to Harley Street and entered the clinic. I was given I think morphene at the time, but I'm not 100%, however, slits grafts were to be done. I had 300/500 slit grafts as I knew not how much area this would cover. The proceedure was generally painless, no major discomfort, during proceedures.

After the proceedure, my head was bandaged and I was sent home. At the time I was still medicated and took the train home some 100miles. I did not know it at the time but was not really in any fit state to be by myself and was never given any advice as to the fact that someone should have been with me. I was high on the drug. I had a reaction to it I guess.

I got home and that evening ended up in argument with my very gentle wife and threw some furniture out of the window. Next day, I wondered WTF I had done. Not good for domestic life and not good for my proceedure and after care.

However, this is the beginning of the absolute dissaster of a SLIT graft hair proceedure. The usual recovery time took place for hair to regrow. Donor area was satisfactory without major problems. All the donor plugs had been compressed into the slit grafts. thus when regrowing the hair was squeezed together as it grew...covering almost no thinning area. Just dark patches of 2,3, hair etc...awful.

A Slit graft is a simple scalple incision and the plug, 1,2,3 hair would be compressed into the slit. Obviously now on reflection, a Round hole cannot fit into a square hole or a SLIT for that matter into a round hole, and corruption takes place.

I ended up with 80% of the SLIT grafts requiring corrective Surgery.

I went to USA for the music business as I was an entertainer and discovered Lathams Hair clinic after some research. I had further discussions with Steve Latham in Huntsville, Alabama, to discuss the corrective surgery and further work.

After consideration, I thought well I might aswell try it, considering the damage had already been done by Dr Franekstein (Sorry Dr May from UK).

The first surgery with Lathams was to correct the damage. It worked very well. Dr Schory was the surgeon. I had more proceedures after this and considering it was some 15 years or so ago, the work whcih was performed has been to my expectations and I am extremely happy with the proceedures. I need more work now and shall investigate once again with Lathams. Once you have found a good clinic, why change? I live in UK but it is more than worth the effort to travel to USA. A holiday and cosmetic work all in one. Why not?

I must say, I, along with Dr Schory discussed and designed a lower front hair line that to this day is very excellent. I am considering using some finer hairs to make the visual aspect a little more gentle. Dr Schory will give sound advice to anyone I'm sure who is considering proceedures. But as I said 15 years ago and the job was super. I am very happy with lathams and intend to use them again. Im now 51.
