  1. Hi,

For such a small area it appears that FUE would be the way to go for you. Your problem is that you live in Australia and I don't know of any good surgeons in our country. If your concerned about it you need to consider travelling to the US and go to one of their top clinics. I went to DHT Clinic in Bangkok and had a good result but they only do FUT which I wouldn't recommend in your case.

Do some research on this website.

  2. Hi Scar 5,

82cm/will go down as the skin is stretched/QUOTE]

You are the first person to acknowledge that the graft count goes down the more times a person has a hair transplant. Initially, my graft count was 108cm and I expected this same level of density for the second surgery. I was a bit disappointed that my density reduced to 66cm for my surgery. I am pretty happy with the subsequent scar which is virtually pencil thin.

Also my scalp is getting a bit tight and its been recommended by my surgeon not to have anymore surgeries due to this and my low density. I'm maxxed out regarding FUT at a little under 6000 grafts.

  3. Hi,

I suggest you contact both doctors and discuss your case with them. Doctor Madhu has many cases on this forum that show mature results, whilst Doctor Radha is relatively new and has many good positive posts. In reality, there are only 2 cases of Doctor Radha's on this forum that members have shown that have the length of time post op to judge the results. Many people (like myself) have had a HT with Doctor Radha but I'm just shy of 6 months and I don't want to assess it until 8 - 10 months post op. I keep receiving enquiries both people need to realise it takes up to 12 months for the results to be mature enough for a person to assess.

I went with Doctor Radha because she was trained by Doctor Pathomvanich, she does 1 HT a day, is hands on during the surgery. Doctor Madha does 2 - 3 surgeries per day and relies on a team of doctors and assistants to complete the surgery. Doctor Madha has been recommended on this forum for a couple of years and he produces good consistent results.

I think both doctors would be fine but the decision is yours in the end.

    Regards

  4. Hi,

I had a minor issue when I returned to Australia and Doctor Radha was prompt with my enquiry. Many questions can be answered by researching her website or this forum. Also another good resource is is DHT Clinic because it has lots of post op information.

If you have puss in you donor scar you should go to your local GP and get him to check it out.

  5. Hi,

Post operative instructions as provided by DHT Clinic.

You should do a bit more research regarding how your HT is going to progress in the coming months. On occasions first time HT patients, needlessly, stress themselves out because they are not fully informed regarding how a HT progresses.

There is plenty of information on this website and I'd suggest doing some research in the coming weeks.

  6. Hi,

I couldn't totally understand your post... Did you have a disagreement with the surgeon during the surgery? I had problems during the surgery because I couldn't sleep as well and I got a bit restless but I didn't have any issues with Doctor Radha at all (she was quite patient with me). The staff were quite good to deal with as well.

Anyway, I'm glad that the hair transplant procedure went well in the end.

    Regards

  7. Hi,

I would like to comment that even if you cannot obtain really high levels of density from a hair transplant its far better to have a bit of a see thru look than being a Norwood VI. I am a quite a bit older than you but your earlier photos were similar to how I looked prior to having a HT.

I had 3743 grafts via strip and whilst I have a see thru look I look so much younger and feel a lot better about myself. Expectations are really import regarding having a HT and some of the posters here want fully density to achieve their aims and wouldn't be satisfied without a result at that standard. You need to understand the limitations of HT and research is very important for you.

I think you've shown considerable improvement from the first photos that you showed and I'm sure you've got a bit more regrowth to go before you get your final result and you then have an opportunity to determine your next step.

    Good luck

    Cheers Rod

  8. Hi,

I am now 5 months post operation. If you do some research on HTN you will understand that I am now commencing the growth stage of my procedure. I can see some new hairs in the hairline and I have discussed this with Doctor Radha Rani and she stated that because I received 1300 grafts in my hairline and it is a second pass (to increase density) she has said that it may take 8 - 10 months to see a noticeable improvement. She wasn't able to get more grafts because this is my second procedure and my donor region is basically spent and I have nothing else to give.

I am quite happy to give members honest feedback i.e. good or bad but I cannot give you an informed opinion at this stage. I know you want to do your homework and check out whether Doctor Radha Rani is up to scratch but I cannot provide this information at this stage.

Please be patient and I will tell you what I think but I have to be fair with Doctor Radha Rani and wait for the results to occur, prior to providing you with feedback.

    Cheers Rod

  9. Hi,

She charges 50RS = $1US per graft. There are many new patients posting on the forum who have had a good experience with her but I would suggest, if your not in a hurry, to wait and see our results.

I had my HT with her 5 months ago and I'm just seeing some growth now but because its my second HT and due to the limited grafts that I had available for the hairline I don't expect to see a major improvement until 8 - 10 months.

Doctor Pathomvanich in Bangkok is very good but his prices aren't that cheaper than US/Canada.

  10. Hi,

I guess your asking for a definitive answer on the result of my hair transplant and the problem is that it is too early for me to say. Yes I had a great experience with Doctor Radha but its of no use if the grafts don't grow. There is a lot of buzz about Doctor Radha Rani at the moment on HTN and a number of patients (like myself) are posting about her. In a previous post I mentioned that there are 2 HTN patients who have been able to demonstrate their results to the community. I'm hoping to show pictures at the 6 month mark and with a bit of luck I'll be able to see a good improvement.

I suggest if you contact them by pm you should be able to get the definitive answer that you want.

    Best of luck

    Rod
