  1. Very good surgeon and a good clinic, based on first hand experience and great results.
  2. Good results, even though i would want more density we all have different expectations and this is definitely a very nice result and the patent looks 10 times better.
  3. My advice is just to spray the grafts with saline for the first 2-3 days before gently start washing it, the first 5-7 days are essential, get the scabbing off but don't be to eager and risk damaging the grafts. Not wanting to dampen your expectations but i have to say that You have had a very low graft count for a large area and you cant expect much density which is visible in your photos but you can add to a that at a later stage. Good luck
  4. Gongratulations on that, I am sure that Bosley produces some good results today even though the talk on the forum is extremely negative, would be nice to see some photos to back it up.
  5. Sounds a bit to much even though I haven't tested it, in the UK there is 12,5% on the market and even with that I haven't heard on anyone reporting better results than with the 5% solution and as someone said before side effects and scalp irritation would be a big issue to consider.
  6. Sounds normal even though you are a bit a head of the average time, it usually does take some effort to take the stitches out even though only done on day 7, mostly due to people not washing the scar properly because they are afraid of touching it to much.
  7. You should be fine sleeping even though they are put into the old scar, the biggest risk you have of taking them out is when you are awake and you would accidently scratch them (yes you can forget that you have anything done there). LLikthos here above says, after the grafts are put into the crown you will also sleep on the grafts, should not be a poroblem. Good luck.
  8. Hardly needed to post this but agree with all said above, focus on maintaining it, you still have good great hair and HT would not do you any good
  9. I dont think hair transplants are expensive compared to other surgery, lets compare for example a HT with a breast enlargement which is one of the most commonly performed procedures. A HT will take (referring to a strip) 6 - 8 hours of the doctors time on average, including designing the hairline, talking the patients through the procedure and etc... the surgeon will also need 4-6 assistants (who get paid well if they are any good) on average and the premises where the hair transplant is done will need the same strict requirements as other surgical procedure (Care quality Commission registered in the UK and similar in other countries, they pay very high premium on Malpractice insurance and so on). So far so good, average price 5 - 6.000 for a big procedure and thats the income for the day. A Breast Implant might be slightly cheaper with a average price of 4 - 5.000 but will only take the surgeon 2 hours maximum and he will only need two assistants, he is able to do 4-5 implants a day with lower cost occured, taking in 16.000 - 25.000 for the day. (not to mention how much more fun it must be looking at womens breasts compared to bald heads . So when compared and the number crunched I have to disagree with the price being to high, I think its quite competitive over the line, but of course there are a few clinics who overcharge.
  10. I dont know why you are taking 0,5 mg Finasteride, 1 mg is usually the recommended dosage, I dont think that or Minoxidil will cause permanent shedding like someone above suggests, and you will need to take it for a few months before seeing results, you can see some extra shedding in the beginning, I for instance noticed some extra shedding now after beginning on Minoxidil again which I hadnt taken for a few months, but since I have been taking Minoxidil on and off for several years I know this hairs come back stronger than before so dont stop using Finasteride and Minoxidil, give it time and you will see the results (that is in most cases, some people it will not do anything for but for most it will at least stop or slow dramatically down the hair loss). In regards to Steroids, they can definitely trigger more hair loss but since you haven't been taking them for two years I hardly think they are effecting you. The pattern isn't a usual one according to the Norwood scale but dont worry about that, not all follow this pattern. I hope this works out for you and you get your hair to its former glory.
