Valium and Madol aren't doing jack shi**. I can walk around, stand up, and do stuff without any pain. Its only when i lay my head down on the pillow. It doesn't matter if I lay down on with the back of my head or the sides, it hurts like a motherf****. The valium did work cuz I somehow fell asleep without remembering, but it only lasted 1 REM sleep cycle (90-120 minutes). I'm awake at 2:45AM (thailand time). I'm seeing the doc in 6 hours (9am), but still, are there any other tricks or helpful hints to fall asleep?

Kinda nervous about tomorrow. So many questions only now come to mind... Doc says I will be conscious enough afterwards to get into a taxi back to my hotel without help. Was this the case with other people? Could you just walk around, or did u fumble around the hotel like a drunk on vicadin to get back to your room? Day 1 - Was it easy to sleep? Could u do anything else? Go to a restaurant? Day 2 - Was it painful? Also, did u feel comfortable going out (to eat at a restaurant) or meeting people, were u presentable, even with a headband and hat? Day 3+ When did your appearance feel "back to normal", is scabbing easy to hide, are transplanted hairs always falling out embarrasing, when is scar hidden (covered) by natural hair ( 2 weeks?) Other Post-op things to consider: Are there dietary recommendations, naturopathic or healing medicines that people have experimented with post-op to speed up healing? Aloe Vera Juice? Wheat Grass? Vitamin e? More protien? Fish Oil? I'm open to any thoughts

Hi garet. a few things [1] in another thread you mentioned Dr. Pong was trained by Dr. Path, however I don't think this was ever verified, but rather mentioned offhandedly by some random post. [2] Also, its VERY interesting how many english-speaking clients Dr. Pong has had and yet on the testimonials, many of them have broken-english recommendations. [3] Most forum posts mentioning Dr. Pong originate from unique accounts that are only a couple of days old with only a few posts to their name. None from senior forum members. Dr Pong could be an amazing HT surgeon. just not sure that all the facts are available, or even what is a fact.

Random Question; Anyone know if Dr. Path can squeeze a HT on short notice? I'm planning on living in thailand for 3 months and would prefer an in-person consultation first before committing to wiring a significant deposit to secure a spot.

I have a similar question. I'll be in thailand, and post-op will plan on meeting friends. As I need to make a great first impression, I'm too shy to have a beat-red, bruised head in public, I might as well stay in the hotel, watch movies. How many days average until swelling goes down and I get my life back again?

<BUMP> I have the same question about Dr. Pong and wanted to be considerate to the community before reposting identical threads. Without question Dr. Path is reputable in Thailand, he's quite famous and many years of great examples of his work have been praised by the clients themselves. However Dr. Pong's is a phantom, ie; his name comes up here and there, only a handful of clients have ever praised his work (no evidence to prove its not the same person, highly dubious red flags in my book). Despite exhaustive searches, I haven't found any negative feedback about Dr. Pong either. You would think there'd be thousands of clients "wearing" his work, either with a positive or negative opinion. Where are they? I mean no disrespect and openly invite comments. Coincidentally, I will be in thailand soon anyways, but wanted to get all the facts first. PS: Hi I'm new to the community so a little about me.
