  1. I'm sorry, I work as a software developer, and this WEBMASTER's mistake is BS. All people who work in the web/app development know about COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL. I, however, am not blaming the doctor for it but the WEBMASTER (another overrated word lol meaning self taught know a little bit about the web/html, no offense Bill ) According to him he was getting all pics from STOCK royalty free website, how in the world did he end up on H&W site and oops got the image by mistake. Sorry for ranting but his excuse is hardly argumentative. P.S Dr. Wasserbauer I would like to see a few of your patient results with good quality pictures You can post them (like many doctors on this site) in the Hair Transplant Patient Photo Albums section
  2. Bill, I believe BlendedMedia is looking for a Doc to do a pro-bono work to showcase it on a TV show, just my impression.
  3. All these ridiculous updates are just to hold their stock shares, nothing more...I don't believe we will see anything until 2011-2012.
  4. Well, I finally overcame my fear/discomfort/paranoid or whatever you wanna call it and contacted Dr. Alexander by email with attached pictures. I don't know why but for some reason I just felt little OFF contacting doctors, call me a freak or a weirdo
  5. I'm looking into Dr. Alexander too. I've looked through the blog but I can only find 5 patients that have their pictures documented. Are there any other patients on these forums who went with Dr. Alexander?
  6. I agree, however Bill sounded more reasonable than people who were just bashing him for whatever reasons they have. All the sarcastic remarks of peeing into the garden or something to that extent is really childish, at least I have never seen anything even remotely close to those remarks made by Bill.
  7. hairthere, sorry but I have to disagree. Is this whole thing childish? Absolutely! But it is enough to draw conclusions. I'm a newbie when it comes to HT and everything it has to do with it, I however have something called intelligence, common sense etc. Every intelligent person would not make a decision in 1 day, he or she would spend a lot of time researching, reading, absorbing. But having all different sites/forums (and sometimes arguments) actually helps to draw your conclusions.
  8. Yep....now the only thing I have to do is to overcome my fear/discomfort/paranoid or whatever you wanna call it and actually contact the doctor(s) for a consult lol
  9. Yup, I saw Farrels chiming in with that question. First of all I really would like to know: How old is he? He just sounds like a little kid who plays video games 24/7. Honestly Bill, be above it, I don't actually think you have ANYTHING to explain. I run a few websites with forums (not hairloss related lol) and I too had to deal with a few trouble makers and too had to deal with gazillion of posts from other memeber defending those guys. But I can assure you, in the long run the situation will stabilize and everything will run smooth once again In any case, I think want to thank you for the tremendous work you do on these forums. Even the fact that you post A LOT every day, even if this is your full time job, tells me a lot. For the past couple of months (ever since I became paranoid about my hairloss lol) I have read quite a few site including HLP, HLH and this site, I can genuinely draw my own conclusions of what's best for the PATIENT. We have to be OBJECTIVE not SUBJECTIVE.... All you have to do is OPEN YOUR MIND. Grrr, again my boring mumbo jumbo lol
  10. Geeez, I never read this forum (Open Hairloss Talk) but boy this is pity. Why would members try to boycot the forums....How is this beneficial to prospect patients and NOOBS like myself. I learned a great deal of information for the past few months on these forums and I have NOTHING but POSITIVE to say about Bill and Pats outfit here. After reading here, I also went to HLH to read posts by people who got banned. Well you guys reall have to get a grip on yourselves. The financial side of THIS site has nothing to do with honest recommendations of HT Doctors. I see absolutely NOTHING WRONG with having this site as a primary business while STILL HELPING hairloss sufferers. In my own experience, I have learned SO much on these forums from all fellows baldheaded guys. Bills input on any topic is almost always tremendous. I have nothing but respect for the guy. All people who are "protesting"....you should stand ABOVE personal agenda and try to understand from a patient point of view. I didn't post anything on HLH because I know I'll just get pounded by haters and I have absolutely no desire to listen to those comments. Bill, I commend you for standing up for what's right on HLH forums. I can only imagine how tough it is to defend everything you believe in and really be on YOUR OWN without support. Anyways, I don't really wanna bore you all with my mumbo jumbo, just wanted to chime in and give you my $.02
  11. I would have to disagree (Sorry) I can see this after a while becoming a race for business. But then again, this is only MY opinion.
  12. jerrygarcialives, I'm sure Dr. Epstein has taken some pictures, you can probably ask him to give you some of them (Pre/Op/Post) Happy Growing
  13. Dennis, I was being completely sarcastic..I just wanted to relax the atmosphere around here, nothing more P.S....GO D-BACKS lol
  14. Lets call a spade a card? Let wait and see how cards unfold? How's that for metaphor? lol
  15. M_D I think (if I can read it correctly) he means that more in a cultural way. Not really a race in general. If you look at different countries, the hair styles may vary dramatically. Having said that, I've worked with many Indian people (computer programmers and really good ones) they do tend to have a lower hairline in general, most likely it's genetic. So when you start balding and your hairline start to come up, you tend to want a lower hairline like the rest of the guys/gals. So I too think tranplant_dude most likely had exactly that in mind
  16. Thanks hairthere, I will try to see if there were any patients who undergone FUE with Dr. Alexander.
  17. Thank you very much guys, I cannot express enough words for this community. I will research a bit more about Dr. Alexander and his patients who undergone FUE. I have visited Dr. Alexander's page and the link you have provided. It is quite interesting. I have this quote from his BIO. Thanks Bill, every time I read any post on the forum, your name pops up all over the place. I admire your contribution to these forums
  18. Hello fellas! I have been reading these forums for a couple of months now and until now I was kinda shy to post anything but I think the time has come to actually get involved. Im 35 (NW2 I think)...I don't really look that bald but my hair line is receding especially the right side. I've tried different meds for the past year (propecia and Rogain). I had some side effects with Propecia after a few months, so I stopped taking it. None of those 2 meds really helped me, I'm still losing hair....It's just SO DEPRESSING to see tons of hair every time I'm washing it. So I think the time has come for me to do an HT. I'm just so grateful for this site and incredible amount of information I have absorbed for the past couple of months. I still have tons of hair all around except my hairline, which looks like its getting higher. So my questions are: 1. Would a FUE work for the case like mine? I don't really want a scar across the back of my head like I have seen. I tend to have my haircut short and spiked. 2. I pretty much narrowed down my Doc list to either Dr. Keene or Dr. Alexander. I have read nothing but excellent reviews on both of them by this community. Do both doctors perform FUE? If yes who is notoriously more experienced in this type of procedure? I have read tons of post on this forum about Dr. Feller and his inredible results in FUE world. How do Dr. Keene and Alexander match up to Dr. Feller? I don't really mind traveling ANYWHERE but both Dr. Keene and Dr. Alexander are in my backyard (I live in Phoenix AZ) Thank you very much to everyone who is reading my post. Your comments are most welcome. Best Regards
