  1. Hey all, the red cross is short!!

    http://www.redcross.org/pressrelease/0,1077,0_314_4326,00.html

"The Red Cross is appealing to all eligible people to donate blood now and is particularly interested in collecting Type O, Type A-negative and Type B-negative, the blood types currently suffering the greatest shortage. "

I've been off proscar for 5 weeks, and being an A- blood type am rushing out next week to help, before I get back on it.

Something to consider, looking at this weeks happenings in London.

  3. hmmm, not to second guess a doc.. but I found I had no problem wearing a ball cap. As long as it is loosley fit. Actually you will find from many people hear that, that is exactly what they did. Some have even wrapped their head with sarane wrap.

Personally though, I opted for a bandana.. I think it suited me best. You can pretty much wear what ever over your head after 10 days when the sutures come out.

  4. I just read that Feller is doing lunch time HT's.. Which is 200 FUE grafts @ $1600!!

What's your guys opinions on this?

This could be a step forward in competition, but makes me nervous that it could cause rushed work, which then would be a huge step backwards.

This isn't for me, it's just something I read and thought I would post.

  6. well, it sucks because it's a graft!! But don't fret over it... You'll general lose about 1% of graft hair due to, them not setting correctly, jared loose, or just plan human error.

Don't worry!! You'll never notice the differance.

Happy Healing!! Please share your experiance!!

Good Luck, and enjoy the rollercoaster ride!!

  7. it looks like you are taking all the right steps. You are also, seeking the right advise and not jumping into a HT. Which sounds like it could be more harm than help at your stage.

I could only wish I took the steps and approach your taking.

I would look into concealer. This could help you buy time. If you only have a receading look, well that's realy nothing. It's just a more mature look. Frankly, when all I had was a receading look, before all hell broke loose. I liked the look. And noone ever gave it a second thought.

Good luck... Just don't let the carriage get ahead of the horse.

  8. I think growth has ended, but am seeing great density improving now!! This is a very exciting experiance, because when I look in the mirror, I see more improvement!!

Unfortunatley I have fine hair, which makes apperance of density less. But heck, it looks 100 times better than before, with continued improvement!!

    This is my latest update!!

  9. well, statements here are written. And to state something like that with a proclaimed backgroud, call for absolute awareness. People should know that.

If you are ignored in your questions or given half ass answers, then look to a physician that wants you to understand.

Even if it is answered 8 times in 8 different ways. Ailene nailed it the best.

  10. communication never hurts!! If you are happy with the procedure, then I would seek his advise first. But, if you are in doubt, I would seek other opinions and then seek his.

    Gives a good goal comparison.
