Is there any specialist that one can visit to analyze the scalp and causes for hairloss. I don't have MPB but have general thinning on top of my scalp. Thanks. vocor1 Posted January 16, 2003 Share Posted January 16, 2003 Thinning on the top can be MPB. I have two people I know who have no temporal recession at all but are really thin on top all over.
