Regular Member Perfect Fit Posted December 4, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted December 4, 2007 Guys. I have been using Regaine 5% once a day for close to 6 years now. I have been using on my crown and hairline. Recently a few people have remarked that the hairline skin looks "shiny". Anyone else had a similiar experience? Anyone know if this is permanent? Interested to know what prolonged use of Regaine can do to the skin..
Bill - Seemiller
Perfect Fit, I don't think my scalp ever became shiny when I used Rogaine though the fact that there was less hair on my head over time, it probably appeared shiny anyway. I also know that bald men typically have shiny looking heads - perhaps it's not a result of the medication. I have however, seen red and inflammed scalps from use of Rogaine for some as the liquid can irritate the scalp. The foam is formed differently and the scalp irritant ingredient is not present I believe. Bill
