Scaling at 6 weeks

Hi all,

 

I'm at 6 weeks post op and have noticed some scaling coming up. I've also had some pimples, which i've read are normal, but haven't read anything about scaling at 6 weeks. Is this also normal?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by scaling. Are you referring to dry skin? Do you have any pictures to further illustrate this?

If it is scabbing-- then that is too long post op to have scabs.

If scaling or dry skin/heavy dandruff-- then look into Nizoral shampoo OTC or even Head and Shoulders would work for your dry skin.

It's more like dandruff, definitely not scabs. But it's not normal dandruff either. The flakes are more like scales and are whiter and thicker. I don't have any pics right now as it comes and goes. DOesn't sounds like it's anything major, just some new growth etc going on.
