I have talked with someone recently who did experience side effects and I wrote a Hair Loss Q&A Blog about it: Avodart Side Effects - What Should I Do? Senior Member calvinmd Posted September 10, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 10, 2007 Avodart (Dutasteride) is a lot like a super-strong version of Finasteride, at least in the pharmaceutical sense. It's not exactly the same thing but it's very similar.
