Senior Member Maxxy Posted February 17, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2009 Hey Mmhce, As the scar is not formed until the wound has healed where would they put grafts? The only place I could think is around the wound area, not having much benifit or right on the edge of the cuts - which I can't see happening and I don't think would very beneficial either. Edit: Or after closure, placing grafts between the cut skin? I don't think they would do that either for all kinds of reasons.
Senior Member Dr. Mohammad Humayun Mohma Posted February 17, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2009 mmhce before the tricophytic closure technique people would do that, putting the grafts in the scar at the end of the day. However, I do not see any use of those extra grafts in scar. I wonder if they would help more. But certainly that was a practise in some isolated cases. --- I am a medical advisor to Lexington International and Hairmax. What ever I say is my personal opinion.
