Regular Member cfmhc Posted April 14 Regular Member Share Posted April 14 I know each clinic/surgeon would have different instructions on when you can have a haircut of donor/recipient area and wear hats post procedure. How long were you told after your procedure (whichever surgeon/clinic) that you were allowed to wear a hat again and get a haircut? Planning my procedure around some travel so just wanting to get some different opinions!
Senior Member gillenator Posted April 14 Senior Member Share Posted April 14 It takes approximately 3 days for the grafts to be anchored well in the scalp…after that a loosely fitted hat can be worn for short periods of time. Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic. My opinions are not medical advice, but are my own views which you read at your own risk.
