Dr Bicer , 3140 grafts FUE , Feb 2024

Hi all, 

I am 29m, turning 30 in 2 months. Usuing Topical minoxidyl 5% (I did not use it last 3 months though - will continue topical 1 month post op), No finasteride (and not going to use). Had my HT with Dr Bicer on Feb 5, 2024. 

Initially I wanted to have a HT in Netherlands (where I live). There is quite a popular clinic, where lots of Dutch celebrities (like footballers and etc) had their transplant. I was ready to have my HT there, but changed my mind due to the number of grafts they stated (3900) and also because I was insisting to know who would be in the team doing my hair transplant - they told me I was not ready for a HT because I was asking questions like those... So, I considered that a big red flag, and started looking for other options - and one of the most convenient options was ofc having a HT in Turkey. 

I made a research (using this forum, reddit and some other sources) and drew up a list of reputable doctors who I wanted to have my HT with. I contacted Dr Bicer first, got the quote (2800), price and did not contact others from my list then I agreed on the HT date and send an advance payment 500 EUR to book the date.

On Feb 5 I arrived to the clinic, dealt with paper work, paid the money, had my hair shaved and passed the tests; then HT started:

• anesthesia was done by a nurse - thanks god it was not as bad and unpleasant as I imagined
• extraction was done by Dr. Bicer - having evaluated my donor area, Dr extracted 3140 grafts
• incision was done by Dr. Bicer
• implantation was done by nurses - that was the longest part and it was quite hard to lay still and wait

Many thanks to Dr. Bicer, to Ozen and big thanks to nurses - the HT went much better than I expected, I have had no pain neither during the surgery nor now!

Currently I am carefully following all the prescriptions Dr Bicer and Ozen told me about and waiting for the result

Happy growing. Dr bicer is a great surgeon and if you have a high yield you will be satisfied with your final result.

Looks like the Dr. did a nice job. Did she tell you take any other meds or supplements besides minoxidil?

Looks fantastic, I can't wait to see how it looks a couple of months from now. I just have a question about the price. She recommended I get about 300 less grafts than you but quoted me at 7500 Euros. How come there appears to be such a large difference in prices? I've been considering a few different doctors and I've noticed my quotes are always higher than what is posted on here as they all seem to be  3 Euro per graft or more.
