Hello everyone,

I've been actively engaged with the forum over the past week, immersing myself in both the discussions and informative videos shared by the community. The wealth of information here has proven to be immensely helpful in my quest for understanding. Today, I find myself seeking your insights on a personal matter.

I am considering sharing images of my current hair condition and seeking recommendations for a suitable doctor. Initially, I contemplated having the procedure done in Dubai due to its proximity, but after thorough research, I've realized the presence of many esteemed doctors globally, excluding those associated with what are commonly referred to as "hair mills."

One option that caught my attention was the DHI clinic in India, particularly with Dr. Kuntal. His articulate discussions on alopecia showcase a profound knowledge in the field. However, I have not come across any firsthand experiences shared about him. Has anyone here had any experiences with Dr. Kuntal?

I've observed a recurring suggestion within the community to opt for a more personalized experience by choosing a doctor with a single, personal clinic rather than opting for international, multi-branch establishments.

In terms of my previous treatments, I have experimented with PRP (yielding no discernible improvement), minoxidil (resulting in some growth but not up to my expectations), and unfortunately, finasteride is not a viable option for me.

Currently, I'm in the process of awaiting evaluations from Dr. Pinto, Ferreira, Freitas, and Custodio. My primary goal is to address the frontal area of my hair. Additionally, I am inclined towards a doctor who personally oversees the entire procedure, without delegating any aspect to technicians. I have set a budget of approximately $5000 for this.

I've noticed variations in the precision of hair extraction, with some doctors employing minimal punctures. Among the doctors mentioned, if anyone has insights or additional suggestions, your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

I don't have much information about Dr.Kuntal. All the other surgeons are great options, but I think are out of your range. You'll need at least 2500 grafts if not more, and I don't think that a budget of 5000$ will be enough

These are all excellent surgeons to research.

Dr. Pinto, Ferreira, Freitas, and Custodio

I’m okay to push it up if it requires, their prices as far as I read in the group are not that pricey for the quality you’re getting, really don’t want a funny hairline at the end 😂

Temples are very hard to treat with medical therapy alone. You'll probably need a hair transplant to restore them. In your case, medication is important to maintaint your remaining native hair

I will give it a shot of trying finasteride probably, topical minoxidil did fine for me, but I've read the oral might help more
