Regular Member london1982 Posted November 26, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted November 26, 2023 (edited) As promised said I would post my journey good or bad to try help others. I’m 8 weeks post 2nd HT and juts over 1 year post HT1. other points i had SMP mid section and crown between HT1 and HT2. I did this as i buzzed my head 3 months after HT 1 and wanted to fill in the horse shoe line at the back. (It worked with show more pictures of that another time). Here are few pictures from pre to today here is pre op NW6 Here is a few weeks after HT 1 I was grade one for serval months at the moment no hair cut for 8 weeks longest since 1st HT I had 700 grafts put in front in HT to thicken up the gaps, but keen to try topical or something to help grow and thicken, any recommendations… I was thinking DUTA and derma roller… been on oral fin for 7 months and taking hair vitamins Edited February 16 by Melvin- Admin changed because hes not a doctor
Senior Member Hairwolf Posted November 27, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted November 27, 2023 This looks not bad considering your starting point. Where is the Dr located? How is the beard hair settling in to the scalp? Any pics in stronger lighting?
Regular Member london1982 Posted November 28, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 28, 2023 Based in Turkey with LongHair Center. yes will post up some pictures in different lights different angles. It’s a long way off where I want it to be, I’d hope HT 1 to be more dense thicker as been 12 month and currently I’ve not cut it for 8 weeks which is the longest I’ve let it grow without cutting. But prehaps if I let it grow out for 6 month it will thicken up, I’ve had 600-700 added to the front as part of HT2. I am thinking of using 5% Minoxidil and de wrap rolling to help with hair growth and thickening. Has anyone done this before ?

Regular Member london1982 Posted February 7 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 7 (edited) 4 month update (from transplant 2) been buzzing in grade 1.5 all over, this if after 13 days, might let it grow for a few months now see what I get out of it. got some super close up on new iPhone below. started oral minoxidil yesterday so taking 2.5g of that alongside 1mg fin, hair vitamin, and Derma stamping once a week. questions anyone know if I can use minoxidil spray, was just gonna use it after Derma stamping, 1once a week, as I’m doing oral? other that beard and head do they use donar hair from other hairs or have they managed to clone hairs? Overall feeling: -think the density is gonna be much lower than I expected -minimal donar left, I have a really thick beard so if need a 3rd might have to use that and whatever else they have to dense up -few islands at the front which is annoying as wanted them filled on 2nd transplant - gonna be patient see what happens over next 2/3 month - I actually suit a 1.5 grade and like my hairline looks ok so that is a positive Edited February 7 by london1982

Moderators Al - Moderator Posted March 17 Moderators Share Posted March 17 The buzz cut looks pretty good. If you don't get enough density once you grow it out then at least you know you can go back to a decent buzz cut. So right now you are in a very good spot.
