Hair Loss Plan. Need Advice

Hello Everyone.

I am a 21M with around a NW2.5 hair loss. I have recently started Finasteride and Oral Minoxidil to try and stabilize my hair loss and maybe grow some hair back. 
 

What would be a good age for a Hair Transplant if that is needed? 
 

Any suggestions on what I should do. I am committed 100 percent to preserving my hair. I don’t want to be a NW6-7 if I can help it.

I would say ride it out for a few years see where it leads.

But if you’re going to take medication then why not? Get a HT now and enjoy your youth

Stay on the meds religiously. Around 25 is a good time to look at your pattern as it will be more established by then. It would be a mistake having surgery earlier than this. All the best.

What Norwood level would you say I’m at now. Would the meds be able to halt the hair loss

At your age its best to keep taking medication and avoid thinking about surgery for as long as possible. Try different things from Finasteride or Dutasteride until you feel like you exausted all your options. Surgery is always a last resort, always.
