Hair Transplant in Turkey

A journal for those of you who are hesitant about flying internationally, this is my experience with hair restoration thus far.

 

Hello everyone, my name is Patrick and I'm writing to you from west Somerset in the United Kingdom. I'm 38 years old and have experienced progressive hair loss since I was 22.

Because of the profound toll it was taking on my self-esteem, I began researching hair transplant options. I went to a clinic in the United Kingdom because I was afraid of what others would say about medical tourism abroad.

We had a session where I was shown around, introduced to everyone on the staff, and asked about my goals and expectations. 

 

There are rumors floating around that there are clinics where the doctor comes in, puts a line on your skull, and then leaves. At Vera Clinic, however, doctors were present all day long, making sure I was doing fine and ensuring that procedures were carried out precisely as planned.

 

We transplanted 5,200 grafts successfully, and my donor is now fully recovered. In the eight months since then, we've stayed in constant communication; usually, they're the ones following up with me to see how things are going and whether or not I'm satisfied.

 

Overall, I'm quite pleased with the outcome. The staff and doctors at Vera Clinic have my highest recommendation.
