Regular Member kiwik Posted June 19, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted June 19, 2023 How long ago did you have surgery? Also, if you had good hair apart from the temples, why did they fill such a big area with grafts?
Valued Contributor Berba11 Posted June 19, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted June 19, 2023 Depends how long ago your surgery was, which you haven't mentioned. If you only had surgery 2 months ago, for example, then this is fairly normal and once the hairs grow in, everything should hopefully fill in nicely. Senior Member SeanT1 Posted June 19, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted June 19, 2023 (edited) Shock loss can sometimes take months to recover. It all depends on how long ago this happened and if you're on medication for hair loss. Edited June 19, 2023 by SeanToman

Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted June 20, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted June 20, 2023 Personally I think they really should have knocked you back as a candidate or at the very most simply addressed the temples/temple points with something like 700-800 grafts (but even that has it's own set of problems long term). Don't stress as has been said shock loss is natural and it takes literally months before you see new growth. All the best. Regular Member consequence Posted June 21, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted June 21, 2023 Not much info to go on. Do you have better pre-op pics? How many grafts and months out are you?
