Hard Hat At Work

Hi everyone. Just signed up to the website and happy to be here seems to be some great advice on here too. I am just back from getting my FUE hair transplant in Malaga and currently on Day 4 Recovery. This question has probably been asked about a million times but Im a HGV Driver in Construction so my hard hat isn't on all day every day it's maybe only on for 30 mins max when on site and this could be 4-5 Drops a day. I have 13 Days off which my Dr said would be fine to use a hard hat by then but I am still sceptical and will be worrying all the time. Would I maybe be better wearing a bandana underneath the hat or would that make it worse? Or any other ideas? I have attached picture of hair as of today. Thanks Dale.

13 days is enough. Do not wear any hard hats before 13 days. Make sure you get the scabs off by 10 days.

Yeah at least 14 days, you should be good after this. Who did the work? Thanks 🙏

Hey BRITA-XL. Thanks for the reply. I can only manage the 13 days so I'm hoping the one day out will be ok🤞will just need to try keep it off my head as much as possible. It was Vinci in Malaga with Dr Susanne Rossler. I'm hoping for some good results but only time will tell. Dale

Thanks for the reply Melvin. Yeah been following the post op from the clinic. They said days 3-4 to do a no contact wash and then days 5-10 I can contact wash and use low pressure in the shower so looking forward to the next couple days and getting the scabs off🤞

Well the grafts are well and truly secured at that point. How many did you have implanted? Have you got immediate post op pics? Cheers 🙏

That's great news. They said they done 2500 on day one which was the front and side areas then said they got 850 the second day for the crown. So 3350 in total. The pictures attached are from day one and two.PXL_20230516_114127999.thumb.jpg.390d8729513ae7e9871617721f3d74eb.jpg

Its an interesting pattern, can you share a before picture? It looks like they restored the lateral humps.

I don’t know you’re age, or when the balding started but it’s worthwhile considering the usual meds to retain the existing hair. Speak to your Dr/Gp if you consider this. Otherwise you will continue to lose hair and it’s going to leave a unusual pattern.

Not the best of pictures sorry but yes it was a very weird pattern loss, even the Dr was quite amused by it🤣but obviously the crown was really bad and also the recedding hairline aswell but some of that was covered with the comb over look😕Screenshot_20230520-152308.thumb.png.a3632093a3530322a27f3828c2832f37.pngScreenshot_20230520-152320.thumb.png.dc47ff8f1645ceaae8864e568592ef2e.png

I'm 28 so that's one of the reasons I went for it. It started a good couple years ago anyway and I wasn't on any medication before but I realise now what a stupid decision that was. So now I'm taking finasteride and vitamin supplements. And also got minoxidil to use after the 20th day of recovery as suggested by the Dr.
