Regular Member Tomi Posted April 16, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted April 16, 2023 G’day blokes, I said I’d post my 6 month progress here. So here it is. I had 2,800 grafts for my entire thinning scalp. I did rush my decision and decided to pull the trigger from not doing anything or knowing anything to getting a transplant one month later. I believe I could have gone somewhere else and gotten 4-5 k grafts for a better price, got a better surgeon and better result but I didn’t have a lot of free time and the series of events leading up to my procedure made me choose this route. I am happy with it. A lot more confident and still expect some new growth but have managed my expectations well since day 1. I am willing to go for a second pass to add density but I am curious about what you think in regards to what I can expect to gain from here, does it look natural, how many extra grafts do you think I will need in the future, is it possibly fin will close in the gaps etc etc. Here is some pictures of day 1 and the rest from the 6 month marker. I am on 1 mg fin with NO side effects and believe I am starting to see gains on my untouched dipping crown. All opinions welcomed, i have a pretty thick skin about this now and want to hear the truth. If anyone out there is considering doing this and feels in a same position as me before procedure please feel free to contact me if you have questions or need some advice. Regular Member Rafael Manelli Posted April 16, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted April 16, 2023 It looks alright. You still have at least a few months to thicken up. Do you have a high quality close up pic of the hairline? That way we can assess naturalism
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted April 16, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted April 16, 2023 For six months post op you appear to have gained a lot of coverage. It’s hard to tell how it looks in terms of naturalness without better pics of the hairline, etc. I would definitely give the Finasteride a good 12 months before even thinking of pulling the trigger again. You really need to get to 10-12 months before judging your results. Wishing you all the best! 👌 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix

ganey1981
Hi Tomi, I'm considering booking in with Dr Dayah and I guess you'll be at 14 months or so now. How's your final result looking? Any pics would be appreciated? Are you happy with the result?
