Regular Member cheesy1986 Posted March 24, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted March 24, 2023 Hi all, Pretty sure I have quite a bit of pitting in my recipient area but it's difficult to get a clear photo. Can anyone advise from the below? I am 6 weeks post Fue so is there a chance things will improve? It was dhi method of implantation if that makes a difference? My feelings about this procedure just go from bad to worse. Thanks
Senior Member BaldReaper Posted March 24, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted March 24, 2023 you need to wait and see, we cant say its pitting since that early, which clinic did you go to? do you have any before pics?
Regular Member cheesy1986 Posted March 24, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 24, 2023 (edited) How long do you need to wait to know if it is in fact pitting? Attached before pic. Edited March 24, 2023 by cheesy1986 Change text
Valued Contributor Berba11 Posted March 24, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted March 24, 2023 You're freaking out - it's totally fine. You won't be fully healed at 6 weeks and you knew this was going to be a 12 month process. This doesn't look like pitting, though it would be more instructive if we knew who performed the surgery. Ok. Just my partner noticed earlier and said are there meant to be little divots where the hairs grow. I had my surgery at Fue Capilar. Dr Turan, who I think is forum recommended

I thought you were 9 weeks out from your other thread, but 6 weeks... Yea, that's peak ugly duckling phase right there. Everything looks very good at this stage and the front profile immediately post op in your other looks like a killer design to me! FUE Capilar do good work so you've every reason to feel confident moving forward.
Valued Contributor Berba11 Posted March 24, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted March 24, 2023 Also... To have retained this much hair at 6 weeks will stand you in great stead! You'll quite possibly looking very decent but only month 3-4. Luckily I didn't shed too much either and it sped the process in terms of looking more normal again. Regular Member cheesy1986 Posted March 24, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 24, 2023 Thanks @Berba11. Pleased to hear all looking good. I'm using aloe Vera gel on the recipient area a couple of times a day to try and help healing and the remaining redness
