squidgame
Hi, I'm a 29 year old UK based male with a receding hairline and hair thinning around my crown area. I was doing some research and came across a bunch of tiktok videos/reviews and was even recommended by someone I know to use Longevita clinic. After some research (not super extensive clearly as I haven't come across this forum until now) I've seen quite a lot of posts about "hair mills" and poor results etc. My hair isn't THAT bad compared to some but it's enough to impact my life, so something I want to resolve. I've paid a £250 deposit to Longevita as I thought I'd be going ahead with the transplant (total cost £1400) but I'm a little skeptical now and would appreciate some advice/tips. If anyone has had their transplant with Longevita I'd be grateful for your experience. I've attached pictures of how my hair.
Senior Member WhiteyUK Posted January 24, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted January 24, 2023 Yes longevita is a hairmill and not a great one… my friend went there a few years ago and his results are poor. I’d reassess if I were you.
squidgame
I think they've got a no-refund deposit policy at the moment so not sure how I'll work my way around that but additionally, I'd like to know an estimate of how many grafts I'd likely need as well as the approximate cost at a reputable clinic.. Senior Member Z-- Posted January 24, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted January 24, 2023 Forget the £250 and move on. The damage they'd commit on your hair is far, far worse than that amount.

squidgame
I didn't really want to spend any more than 2 - 2.5k in any one go ideally.. I'm not sure how much "proper" surgery should cost
