a9424141
I'm just over 7 months out from my hair transplant procedure from mid-June in Dr. Pekiner's office in Ankara. Thought it would be a good time to share my results. Really happy with the surgery so far. At Norwood 4/5 and with thin hair naturally, wasn't expecting miracles (and was made aware of this, hence the conservative hairline) but pleased with what I've got. Pekiner and his team were super professional, sensitive to the situation, and polite. Initially rejected in July 2021 due to extensive thinning, crown miniaturisation, and unstable situation. Got on Fin / Min, tried again in June 2022 and was accepted. €2.5 per graft due to last minute replacement booking, but higher I believe in normal circumstances. Some beard hair used just to fill out the crown area with some thickness. Somewhat noticeable in bright light due to the blonde hair, but I'm not fussed, and it's not exactly an area on display. Surgery took place over 3 days for 4-5 hours at a time. Pre op short hair: One week post op: Four months post op: All following are pre op vs 7 months
Senior Member Spring15 Posted January 27, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Congrats man that's looking like a full head of hair again. Expect nothing less from Dr Pekiner. I've just had my transplant with him today - currently at the air port waiting for my 8 hour transit flight lol edit: how old are you btw? Senior Member HairEnthusiast101 Posted January 27, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Is your crown thinned or just a cowlick? It doesn’t looked thinned out to bad to be honest in the post op photos. But results look good imo Edited January 27, 2023 by JoDimaggio22

How are the beard hairs growing/feel like to touch? Cheers dude. Good luck with everything, they'll put you at ease and you'll do great. Beard hairs are a little thicker and wiry, and tend to stick up a bit more - you can definitely feel the difference. No issues with growth, except perhaps a little itchy in the beginning. Overall, happy to pay that price for some density. Beard donor area-wise, it recovered very quickly. I'm a clean shaver and cosmetically it's imperceptible.

Did you successfully book Dr. Pekiner through the Neohead website? I tried to obtain a quote a few days ago but the email addy listed on their webpage bounced back. Definitely considering him for my HT.

Patience is the key and now it is certainly paying off. You still months ahead of you as well. Regular Member Rafael Manelli Posted January 30, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted January 30, 2023 Congratulations, it’s looking good. Your lighter hair color helps as well. The postop design looks natural and refined, which shows in the result. Do you notice more density on top as well?

Still some time for improvement. How is your donor? On the photos it looks quite good. Are you thinking on a 2nd round?
