Concerned about density on hairline and temples.

Hey friends,

 

I recently got 2350 FUE grafts and am a bit concerned about the density. What’re y’all’s thoughts? We put a ton of grafts over my frontal forelock where I had solid native density. I’ve seen people getting up to 2800 just in the hairline so I’m a bit concerned that I am going to end up with super thin results.

It’s hard to say with post-op pictures. Usually a week once the scabs come off you’ll have a better idea.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about what people say on Reddit. Until the grafts shed it’s difficult to say, it’s bloody, so of course it could look shocking. You have a lot of native hair in the midscalp so density should be lower. I suggest tracking your progress here. Try not to stress at this point, it’s impossible to say how it will end up.

Haha, I am the exact person you are targeting in this video. This was super helpful — thank you. I really hope that I do not suffer from pitting and can still rock a shorter hairstyle (buzzcut). Time shall tell. The doc still did cover a ton of surface area with that graft count.

72hrs post-op:

The itching is easily the worst part of the process so far. The donor is looking good and the swelling is slowly moving down my face.
