Hairfall after 4 months of hair transplant

My hair started growing everything is going well. But since past few weeks like 3 i started noticing hair fall while i was showering. Like atleast 40-50 hair strands. That too mostly from sides of head and few from top of the head. Im just worried that is this part of process or something wrong.

This is part of the process. The Ugly Duckling process. The hairs from the sides may be just slight shock loss. All the best.

ugly duckling process after 4 months? I dont think so @User Neware you on meds?

I agree with @BaldV, the ugly duckling phase is between the first and second month and a half, not the fourth month.

Yes im on meds. But i have growing hair on top but then while showering i see Atleast 30 strands.

Then what do you think problem is?? My doctor said water might be one of reason. Or any increase in level of DHT?

The causes could be multiple, there are autoimmune diseases for example, which the patient does not know he has, nor the surgeon notices during the procedure, you should do a thorough check with blood tests, including those that detect the proper functioning of the thyroid, or even scalp pathologies (some of these are semi obvious because they bring itching or tingling), but also (as they argue a lot here), it could be a surgeon's mistake, which apparently, if he tells you it could be water , I'm afraid he's not a very good surgeon.

Which and how much do you take?

 

If your meds are biotin, rogaine or something like that then that could be the issue. Or if your dose is too small.

At 4 months I would say that you are in very good shape, for the crown it is known that it takes more time, I would also be curious to see the situation you were starting from, but from what I see, I do not seem to be alarmed.

Thanks for your comment. I recently have moved another place since then i started noticing hair fall(30-40). Earlier i had no hair fall before moving new place. I think because of water this might be one of the reason. Or is this telogen effluvium ???

I don't think it's a water problem, it could be telogen effluvium, the important thing is to avoid the problems I was talking about before, if it was something like that, the fall had to be all over the scalp and not just the crown, and from the photos you posted, everything looks ok.

My thyroid levels and haemoglobin level are normal. From my research i did telogem effluvium happens because of many reason one among them is weather. Weather at my old place was 30-35 C and at my new place it is 15-20 C. Is that true telogen occurs because fo weather change?

Could be from stress I also started suffering from telogen effluvium due to lost of the stress in the past 6 months so much so that I had thinner donor

How long ago did you commence meds? Often a shed can occur prior to the benefits.

For starters, it is normal to lose between 50 to 100 hairs per day as this is part of the normal hair growth cycle. This is true whether the hair is natural or transplanted. It’s also possible that you’re experiencing some shock loss which typically occurs a couple months after the procedure.  Rest assured, however that this is a normal part of the process which takes approximately 12 to 18 months for a new hair to grow in, thicken and mature.

Does dandruff causes hair fall? If yes then how to stop it. For starters this is how it looks my dandruff all those minute particles are dandruff

Hello, there are a few probabilities:

Since when you had the surgery?

Which support medicines you used or still using?

What is your age

If you used DHT inhibitor medicines and reduced the dosage or leave the medicines, it can be observed. 

During the hair transplant, the whole area transplanted or it is planted between the hairs you already had ?Your own hairs which is not transplanted may loss.
