Senior Member Prof101 Posted October 11, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2022 I used to sprint 1 mile 2-3 times a week, plus lift some weights (high intensity low rep) When would it be safe for me to go back to that? Since by now the grafts are definitely fully anchored, do I have to worry about anything? So far I have been just walking daily as exercise Thanks
Senior Member mister_25 Posted October 11, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2022 I remember reading somewhere that if you had FUT it could be problematic. 12+ Months Finasteride + Minoxidil 3872 FUE w/ Dr Hasson | November 2022
Senior Member general-etwan Posted October 11, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2022 (edited) Full physical activity can be resumed 1 week after procedure assuming that recovery period has gone well with no complications. Grafts are fully secure by that time and are safe. Just treat your head well and take good care to keep it clean and healthy. Senior Member StillAlive Posted October 11, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2022 (edited) Longest period to abstain from hard training I've seen is a month. If you are past that mark, it's all good, go crazy I resumed my weight lifting regime a month post-op with no issues whatsoever. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted October 11, 2022 Valued Contributor Share Posted October 11, 2022 If it's FUE then a week to ten days should be fine. FUT I would consult with the doctor and personally I would give it three months due to the risk of stretching the strip scar. All the best! Regular Member jay80 Posted October 11, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted October 11, 2022 I don't know anyone who can sprint for one mile, including myself who was an ex elite athlete. Apart from that, you're good to exercise intensely by now if it was FUE
