ASLI TARCAN DESTROYED MY HAIR AND OVERHARVESTED MY DONOR AREA

I would really like to express my deepest tragedian moments after I did my hair transplantation at ASLI TARCAN. I am 32 years old man form Jordan who did two hair transplantations; the first one at Turkish hair center  and I got about 2000 grafts implanted. The second one at ASLI TARCAN. I had good results from my first surgery and my donor area was not overharvested and because I was not on any medications, my hair loss did not stop.  On the second hair transplantation, I was researching for good clinic in Turkey to add more density so I can feel more confident and happier. I contacted them and I told them I had a previous surgery and I am worried about the donor area plus I had requested no more 2500 grafts to be implanted and I repetitively raised the concern about not overharvesting my donor area. On the day of pre-surgery, when they looked at my donor area level with a small machine, they insisted for more grafts and they told me that my donor area can hold more than 4500 grafts so I trusted them blindly and was not worried about the surgery because I thought I was in safe hands. On the day of surgery, there was no consultation at all and that is the result I got going to ASLI TARCAN. The donor area looked destroyed which reflects how unprofessional and inexperienced they are in dealing with the donor area. My advice to people not to choose ASLI TARCAN for pictures on hair transplant results on social media without any consideration for the biggest picture. I advise you to do your research very well and to go to a reputable doctor instead of their beast system

Sounds like a similar story to @RTC very sad. Have you consulted with any other surgeons?

I consulted Dr mwamba and Dr Taleb Barghouthi. Dr Mwamba said I can help you but it would need body hair transplantation  . Dr Taleb preferred to wait 8 months past the surgery to decide the amount of grafts we need to cover all that donor damaged

Bad job indeed. Dr Mwamba and Bisanga are doing donor restocking on fue scars to my knowledge, I think Dr Cole as well, but I don't know others. That would be an interesting thing to add to the forum, these fue scars repair.

What about your result so far in the recipient area? With 6500 grafts total maybe you will have a decent result, and just the donor to worry about in the future, that you can repair with bht.

That’s a lot of medication. No sexual side effects?

My recommendation would be to grow out your hair long on the sides so it's not as distinguishable for now. Once you get closer to a year re-assess the donor and recipient areas, then find a clinic that specializes in both repair work and BHT. My top 2 choices would be Dr Bisanga, and Eugenix.

They will transplant your beard hair right back into the donor and you'll be good as new. They could also add more density and/or fix weak spots that you may also have on top as well since you waited a full year.

Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!

We should share the bad results to people to avoid going to these kind of clinics

Try and get your money back

I followed up with them to get a refund, they try to delay me many times. They said wait 6 months and it will improve and I got frustrated. Finally they offered me, if they make sure the donor area is not improving after 12 months, SMP session for a discount

I tried to grow up my hair as you can see from my photos, and it is getting worse so I decided to shave it all off, I will wait for one year to pass and see how it goes

My recepient area is improving on medications, my surgery was very patchy. What is the point of having maximum grafts on the top and the donor area is looking like this

straight up butchery. this is absolutely ridiculous from the clinic. So sorry man -- I hope you're able to find a good doctor to fix this.

I had a strong donor area before they destroy it , I don't know how I ended up with this clinic. It affected me a lot

Its been six months post surgery

I think it will improve a bit more, but the signs will still be evident.

interesting your 1st ht was good but 2nd one bad.

For most people, the 1st ht is the bad one and then they wise up and start getting good HT's

Perhaps the good result from the 1st turkish hairmill made you overconfident and less diligent than you should have been for this 2nd HT

That being said, this result is obviously not your fault, its 100% asli tarcans

Just interesting to me your 1st ht was good...

Fyi - even if you go to one of the elite docs, this is going to involve 2 and perhaps more surgeries to repair

I was not overconfident, I warned them to take care of the donor and avoid any overharvesting during the surgery plus I offered them extra money to avoid any mistakes during the surgery. I also requested the surgery to be done on a day when the center is not busy and an appointment was booked on this basis
