Did I lose a graft?

I noticed this hair today falling out while trying to remove some dry skin in my recipient area. Did I lose a graft ?

If there is no blood, it is very unlikely. You are going to shed a lot of your grafts for the first 2 to 3 months. This is part of that process.

There was no blood and I am 19 days post operation. However I felt a bit if pain while I was massaging it off

No, you didn’t lose a follicle 19 days postop. At 19 days postop, you would require surgery to remove any follicles. However, the pain you felt is likely because the scab probably wasn’t ready to come off or it wasn’t moist enough.

Be careful when massaging off the scabs.  You should use your fingertips and massage the scabs in a circular motion when the scabs are wet/moist and the best place to do this is in the shower with shampoo and/or conditioner applied.

It's just a dry dead hair shaft, not the physical bulb that creates the hair. After 19 days you are more than safe from losing the grafts

If its past 3 days and there wasnt blood at the graft site you should be fine
