Solutions containing alcohol on recipient area

Hi all

Today I used some minoxidil on my donor area (which also had grafts put INTO it). Is alcohol in the solution in any way damaging to growing grafts? 

Almost 3 weeks post surgery.

No i started using minoxidil two weeks after surgery. No problem. If u r that worried try the foam, it is “less drying”

If the scabs have fallen off  and the redness/irritation has subsided then I think using minoxidil is okay and should not endanger the process. 

Some doctors allow their patients to use it as early as 10-14 days after surgery.

No, after 2 weeks you can start using minoxidil on donor areas and after 3 month in the recipient area.
