I can't think of any reasons why and external strip scar on the back of the head would impact on tinnitus to be honest with you. I'm a former Sound & Music Tech graduate would studied the ear brain. Granted, it was 10 years ago and I'd not call myself an expert in that field by any means, but I can't see any connection. Nerve damage is a risk of FUT, particularly in the wrong hands. Reputable FUT surgeons will know how to extract the strip in a safe way, however. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Regular Member shadowcast Posted April 22, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted April 22, 2022 I experienced very odd tinnitus a few days after my FUE. Can't say for sure it was due to the surgery. It was pretty minor (only audible at bed time with my head on the pillow) and only lasted a few days and then went away. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
