Hey All,

It's been a long time waiting to write my experience, and I did try documenting the 'weekly / monthly' growth, and quickly realised I was going paranoid, so I decided to wait longer until I had more to share :) (also cause work/life got very busy)

In any case, this is a continuation of this thread:

Thanks again to everyone who helped throughout the journey. I follow this forum daily and it's always encouraging, so, hope this update helps you, and ofc, I'd love to hear everyone's feedback on how things are going! So, here we go:

Surgery Days: October 12th (09:00 am - 07:30 pm) & October 13th 2021 (8:00 am - 06:30 pm) with Dr. Hasson and his team. FUE.

Day 1: Arrive and debrief. Due to it being a holiday/covid, I did not have a chance to have the consultation before, and thus, I arrived earlier to discuss the final output/desires. From there, extractions begun. Dr delineated the hairline, his staff did the work, he came back to do the punching/incisions, staff takes back to implant. He checks often (every other hour or so).

Day 2: Pretty much a repeat of the same day, minus the consultation. I saw Dr. Hasson less this day, but he was still coming in to check. Staff again, beyond incredible. Swelling started to show.

All in all, I cannot stress enough how amazing his entire team was. I don't have words to describe how incredible the doctor himself along with all his staff were. Truly worth every penny from that perspective.

Overall Grafts:

Day 2:

The last 4.5 months in a nutshell:

Month 1: lots of swelling the first 14-15 days, i legit looked like an alien breed of sorts. hair shed around week 3-4

Month 2-4: I shaved everything cause i noticed it looked pretty funny uneven, last shave was for NYE, so there's about 3 months worth of growth.

Pics below, I'd truly love your opinion. I feel like I see some progress, but slower than I imagined? dunno, any thoughts very welcome!

4.5 months later (taken today, 3/1/2022) - Would love to hear your thoughts. Idk why I feel it's slow?

Have been on 0.5 mg dutasteride a day since October. Will start Rogaine soon, and also got approved for hasson's trial of topical finasteride 2.5%

Strongly recommend them!

That said, no one has given any feedback on how it looks for 4 months, so I'm getting a little nervous, haha!

Just seen this 👍🏽 Looks fantastic for such a early stage 👌

Pics post haircut today 3.20.22.
I wanted to check how a skin shade would look, and even though it doesn't look that horrible with the FUE scars, I'll likely not go skin again (maybe 0.5/1)

All in all, I'm finally noticing some improvements and it's super exciting. Hitting the 5 months mark, so I guess things get even more exciting from here :)
Left side still has some growing, and hopefully the crown!

Looks good to me! I was a slow grower on my first HT and was about where you are in terms of growth at 5 months. I saw steady growth from 4-8 months, with more hair maturity all the way to 12 months and beyond. I expect it will be the same for my second.

The hairline is coming in especially nice. If I passed you on the street I wouldn't think you had any hair loss, especially if you let it grow out a bit more. The crown is lagging behind a touch but that's to be expected with crowns - I've often heard them referred to as the black hole for grafts because of how much they need to look "dense".

Happy growing! If you ever want a confidence boost, keep a couple pre-op pictures in your phone and do a side-by-side with where you are now :)

The crown takes a bit longer to grow due to blood flow differences with the front . But you are on a good path and should see great growth in the upcoming months . Good job as always by H&W .
