Regular Member quantumhair Posted February 5, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) As you would expect, I'm asking this question to know whether it's a good idea to use Topical Finasteride/gel instead of tablets post hair transplant to avoid "potential" side effects of oral form. Have you used it? Have you found it to be as effective as oral form? What is the general consensus? Is there a reasonable confidence? I see some old posts in this forum that refers to a Topical Fin from Hasson & Wong. Is that and the general results about "Topical FInasteride" that show up in google about same thing? Most formulations do have significant systemic absorption, but Dr Hasson's formulation apparently makes this extremely minimal while keeping it in the dermis where you want it.
