AnyTwo
I'm 35 now and most of my hair loss so far happened in my early 20s. I haven’t noticed any significant change in the last 10 years - though I’m sure it’s progressing, just much slower. Is the crown restoration + fixing the receding hairline possible at this point? Or is my donor area not good enough to pull this off? ( be honest). Also, I was thinking about doing the SMP too. I’ve been rocking a buzz cut since I was 18, so I don’t mind having my hair very short (cutting it with no guard) - but I think getting the FUE first and then filling it with SMP would give much better result. So ideally I would get FUE first, and if I can't have a decent hairstyle then I would just shave it off and add extra density with SMP and leave it short. Would it be possible to keep the buzz cut look in this scenario ?
Senior Member Westview Posted October 10, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted October 10, 2021 So your donor sucks, but you have great sidebanks. My advice is the same with the other guy I previously posted. Work around your forelock, and fill in the blanks with partial scalp/beard hair
Senior Member TEXAN35 Posted October 10, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted October 10, 2021 You can definitely get a conservative hairline built and get help using BHT/SMP for crown if FUE supply is not enough.
