Regular Member fusion47 Posted April 19, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted April 19, 2009 I had a HT back in December of 08 and am starting to see some significant growth. It looks like my hairline is filling in quite a bit, but there's sparser growth behind it. Anyone else have this particular pattern of graft growth? Senior Member El Nino Posted April 19, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 19, 2009 Not all the grafts start growing at the same time. You're only 4 months post op, still very early. Dr. Cooley is a great doc so I am sure you'll be very happy WHEN it's grown out. My Hair Loss Website - Two HTs with Dr. Rahal and SMP at HIS Hair. Senior Member Eman Posted April 19, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 19, 2009 there are definitely areas that will lag behind others in terms of timing of its growth...it is totally natural. Give it a few more months and it will no longer be a concern. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out...
Senior Member latinlotus Posted April 20, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 20, 2009 Hang in there. You are still at the four month mark, way to early to be worried. But i understand, as most of us went through this. I am just now slowly stepping out of the doldrum at the five month mark. ******** I am not a doctor. The opinions and comments are of my own. HT with Dr. Cooley on Nov 20, 2008 2097 grafts, 3957 hairs Proscar, 1.25 mg daily, skip the 5th day, started Nov 2007 My Hair Loss Blog - Hair Transplant with Dr. Cooley
Dr. Glenn Charles
Way to early to determine the success of your procedure. Dr. Cooley is a excellent Hair Restoration surgeon, but you must still wait the proper amount of time to obtain your final results. In some patients this may take 12 months. Remember staring in the mirror does not make the hair grow in any faster.
