What's wrong with my Finasteride Cycle?

Hi,

I started daily Fin (1mg) for 9 months now. When I first started for couple of months, I experienced the shedding cycle which I expected. And once past the initial shedding stage, the hair loss stopped and new hair starts growing. Which is all good.

However 9 months into Fin, my hair starts the shed again. The shed hair is not only the matured/long hair. Some are thinner hair, and newly grow hair (~3cm).

Is the Fin not working anymore for my body? 😔

Nothing, you need to relax. Hair loss or not we tend to shed a lot in the summer. We have seasonal sheds and you may be experiencing one too. Don’t fixate on every fallen hair you see, you’ll lose your mind
