Review of Dr Ziya Yavuz

Recommended Posts

Hey Lovely community,

I'm planning for a sapphire FUE in july 2021.

Like all of you I've researched in and out about the best hair surgeons. But it's very hard to find someone with no bad reviews.

But I found one, Dr Ziya Yavuz who has flawless reviews on multiple social platforms and many platforms including BBC UK has endorsed him.

I know it all can be paid marketing, but it's hard to maintain such a stellaf image without actually being good.

Hence, reaching out to you guys? Specially if there is someone here who has got successful results with him, PLEASE SHARE

Or if you know someone who had horrific experiences with Dr Yavuz, Please Share.

Thanks in Advance :)

You have to ignore all the social media stuff, like you said it all marketing. The only way to know if a clinic is good is to see actual patient results. Not the cherry picked clinic ones. BBC is no recommendation for any any clinic ! It’s a TV organization ! And besides all they did was a interview with this clinic.

Start researching some recommended clinics:

I do think there are perfectly decent places in Turkey. For example HLC, Dr Bicer and Dr Pekiner.

I googled "dr ziya yavuz hairrestorationnetwork" and found a couple of threads. I have no idea about this doctor but you found us at the right time - you should do all your research before booking a surgery.

Spend 6 months here reading every day. Look at photos, find threads that show an entire year of someone's results, read discussions about what doctors people recommend etc. and also check out the list of doctors this forum recommends.

Do not committ to anything for the next 6 months. If in 6 months you still choose Dr Yavuz then at least you can say you made that decision based on research, and not that you rushed into it.

2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now.

Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018.

Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week.

Wrote a book for newbies called Beating Hair Loss, available on Amazon

Thanks alot for your prompt help!

And I totally agree with you. Alot of research is needed to finalize onto one surgeon. I've been on the research for over 4 months and gonna use the rest of my time before July to research properly. I haven't committed to Dr Yavuz yet.

Do you have any surgeons in mind that you could recommend. Someone's work you've actually seen on someone or your ownself?

Thanks in Advance :)

Thanks for your suggestions :)

I'm a little reluctant for HLC because they too have a very strong marketing presence on platforms. Never sure if they are tricking you.

I shall check the other two docs you suggested right now.

THanks Again :)

They are not tricking you, they really are considered a top clinic. Check out the results on the forum !

You can see my above mentioned Drs/clinics and you could consider ASMED too? All of these have real patient results on the forum !

Yes I hear Asmed is really good but it's also super expensive. I'm from Paris. So If I travel to turkey from Europe, it's going to be for the low price point right?

Let’s be honest here, all clinics/Drs will have some kind of marketing presence. The way to look for a clinic is to research using real patient results. Such as those posted on the forum. And remember absolutely all clinics will have a poorer result.

It's good you haven't committed... this is such a huge decision. You can always get more money but you only have limited "donor" hair on the back of your head that can be transplanted....so you need to make sure you choose a great doctor with a big track record of results.

I went with Dr Feller in New York (Dr Bloxham is now the main surgeon there at Feller and Bloxham, he is very good) and next time I will go with Hattingen in Switzerland.

Other elite names are Konior (Chicago), Hasson & Wong( Canada) , Bisanga (Belgium) , Eugenix (India), Shapiro (USA). I think there's one in Cyprus called HDC which is also very good.

There are more clinics in Turkey that have great results for a good price but I never pay attention to those to be honest, so I can't recommend.

There are many more but researching these will be a great place to start. Honestly, you need to choose a doctor that has a profile and track record similar to the names above. If you can only see see one or two real results and lots of untrustworthy reviews then you should think twice.
