Female hair restoration- Dr. Taleb Barghouthi- Vertex Hair Clinic (1806 FUE grafts)

Dear members, 

 

This is the case of a 47year old female with a Ludwig 2 Androgenetic Alopecia. She underwent a hair transplant FUE procedure on Dec 4th 2019. Her main concerns were thinning in the areas around her midline part and crown causing her styling difficulties. She is on 5% Minoxidil foam once daily prior to the procedure and continues to use it. 

 

The surgical details are as follow:

Date: Dec 4th 2019

Total grafts: 1806 FUE grafts

Hairs/Graft avg: 2.02

Singles: 165 single hairs. No hairline work done. 

Meds: Minoxidil 5% foam once daily. Strted before surgery and continues to use. 

Punch used: 0.9 mm  ( 5mm length hybrid punch as graft were deeply rooted) 

Recipient sites: 0.9 mm for singles and 1.3 mm Sapphire blades.
