Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted December 8, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted December 8, 2020 In this short video, Wendy and I review a UK guy from back in 2012. He just sent an updated pic from this fall and still looks terrific. We get asked all the time if hair restoration is permanent....well, for MOST patients, hair restoration done correctly will last decades. There are always exceptions to the rule but for the vast majority of patients a well done hair restoration lasts and lasts and lasts. EVERYTHING..skin, hair, muscles...you name it...starts to get thin in the 70s. So thicker hairs, transplanted or not....do get thinner with age. That said, in the last 30 days, we've worked with 5 guys in their mid 60s and one guy in his early 70s. All are planning on looking as good as they feel for the foreseable future. Senior Member Britanium Posted December 8, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted December 8, 2020 Thanks for posting. I had my first ht over 10 years ago and I have not seen any loss from my transplanted hair either.
Senior Member Mycroft Posted December 9, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted December 9, 2020 Love to see the longer term patient updates. The work still looks solid and his hairline is probably the envy of many peers.
